Thank you. I was afraid I was the only one who couldn't follow that logic.

Re: Marvel Legends in 2023 General Discussion
Heh, thank you for sharing my perspective.
It reminds me of when someone would find Amazon listings that gave no indication of what it was beyond "Hasbro" and "Marvel", so some would go ahead and preorder anyway. I think some of the Marvel Studios Ten Years figures were like that initially.

sometimes they reveal stuff like the entire avengers anniversary wave but don't put it up for preorder.
This just means a set or 2 will go up for preorder occasionally thats already been revealed

Is there a good amount of stuff that's been revealed without going up yet? Genuinely asking since I don't keep a lot of track of the comic stuff.spideyboy1111 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 2:27 amIm not sure how it didn't make sensesometimes they reveal stuff like the entire avengers anniversary wave but don't put it up for preorder.

Now I'm wondering if they have more planned for the rest of the year. I know Hasbro tends to wrap things up by like October, but these waves only take us through the middle of the year.

11 prices for a Single figure ranging from $15.99 to $43.99
7 prices for a Deluxe figure from $31.99 to $66.99
8 prices for a Two-Pack from $33.99 to $77.99
4 prices for a Three-Pack from $66.99 to $89.99
2 prices for a Four-Pack from $79.99 to $131.99
1 Five-Pack available at $124.99
9 HASLAB offerings from $179.99 to $574.99
WTF?! It used to be easy to get jazzed about new figures coming out, but now I wait to see what the price will be before I can get excited. There's no telling what the price will be or if we'll be able to afford one or five figures from a release. Bring back the Completists, level out the pricing and let us buy full sets again. If all the figures were based on a simple price, then multiply it by 1.5, 2, 3.4.5 YOU WOULD SELL MORE FIGURES.

Dan, If you're seeing this, FIX THIS FIRST! This is literally off the Hasbro website, not EE or BBTS.

Until we get the licensing rights clarified about whether they're even able to use Shuma-Gorath discussing it is as fruitless as discussing whether Covid came from a lab, a wet market, or wherever--we're never going to know unless the source tells us, so there's almost no point to discussing it amongst ourselves other than just fruitlessly spinning our wheels.
Luckily the Legends guys are far more forthcoming than China so what we really need is for one of the Youtube Legends channels to ask them if they can create a figure from the character. There's little to say until one of them do that. If any of you Shuma-Gorath lovers like 100pts and myself communicate with the Youtubers who get Hasbro interviews please do so and encourage them to ask the team!

I think it'd be really easy to get around if they just called the figure Gargantos

Unless the rumor was true that they already had a comic-based Shuma-Gorath in the production pipeline to be released last year, in which case just calling it "Gargantos" would cause brand confusion that Jesse Falcon probably wouldn't allow. Until the comics group starts calling him Gargantos in the comic I doubt the Legends team can call a comic-based character Gargantos yet, and unless something has changed since last year it seems like the comics guys just aren't using the character for now.
If they don't already have some work done on the comic figure then I also doubt they'd do an MCU version. Doing a figure for a throwaway character who only briefly appeared and is already dead in the MCU probably isn't going to happen, although I'd be all-in for this if the figure is good. If it's as bad as McFarlane's recent Starro BAF then no thanks.

Comic Book Resources is claiming today's reveal is a Gamerverse Miles Morales. Is this just a straight-up re-release of the one we got in the Armadillo wave only with the Captain Marvel Goose accessory cat included?

Looks like a re-release with a cat instead of the unmasked head and blue powered up hands instead of yellow.
Makes sense as a re-release to tie in with the new game like putting Moon Knight out with the D+ show. I think people would rather have the unmasked head than the cat if they missed the Armadillo wave one.
