Hyped for classic Ronan finally after all these years! He had a great appearance on Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes - I had to watch a few clips this morning since he's on the brain.

Bonus appearance of classic Ms Marvel. We have to be getting a figure of her with the upcoming release of the Marvels, right?

Love it! Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes was such a great show. It’s portrayal of both Ronan and Carol Danvers Ms. Marvel was fantastic!

Definitely hope we get a figure of this costume for Carol with an extra Moonstone alternate head.

Agreed. While I prefer the black costume design, her first appearance Ms. marvel look is critical.

And I agree wholeheartedly about A:EMH. The series was absolutely perfect, and I never get tired of it. Doing a series rewatch currently, and we're in the Kang storyline (who they got pitch-perfect).

2020 to 2022 price increase guide:

• Standard 2020 price = $19.99, 2022 price = $24.99
• 2020 premium sculpt price (80th Iron Man/Thor/Cap, Fox Wolverine, etc) = $24.99, 2022 price = $33.99
• 2020 Deluxe/large figure price = $29.99, 2022 price = $38.99

In 2021 they introduced a new very large figure format that replaced the Legendary Riders line with Surtur being the first one. 2021 Surtur and MODOK were $52.99, and that format's price is now $55.99.

One thing that's new this year is that store exclusive prices are now all over the place. No idea if this is due to Hasbro or each store, but I'm guessing it's each store not noticing whatever Hasbro's MSRP is for them. For example Target and Walgreens have mostly been using last year's $22.99 price for exclusives, whereas Walmart and Amazon are using $27.99. I'm guessing they upped the price for exclusives to $27.99 but the Target and Walgreens toy managers didn't notice.

There are also a few oddballs like Iron Man with proton cannon, and probably a few others, that seem completely custom-priced. But that's an unusual release I haven't seen before now so I'm not even sure what price bucket from a few years ago you'd stick that one in. Probably just deluxe, but they felt it should be more. Maybe it's the same as that deluxe packaging they used in the past for Pulse exclusives like Deadpool, clear Invisible Woman, or powered-down Human Torch? Those were standard figures that should have cost $19.99, but they added $5 for those boxes they put the retro card in.

Also probable they offer the retailers a choice for exclusives. On the cost side, choices that balance production run size with cost per unit - do you want to order 10,000 and pay X per unit, so it will retail for Y, or do you want to order 8,000 and pay X+15% for unit, so it retail for Y+15%, or something like that. And I'm sure the retailers get a list of characters (at different general price points) to choose from, along with options for what the figure will include in terms of extras and what that would mean for the cost, and Hasbro works with the retailer to set the price and production.

Ronan is pretty nice. Great shelf presence.

My only complaint is he could have used a pair of fists.
