I am hoping High Evolutionary is the BAF. Gamora I am hoping is an exclusive somewhere

According to Boog the baf is High Evolutionary.
He has broken news before, but take with as many grains of salt as needed.

This may only apply to me, but I enjoy saying the name "Boog" more than practically any out there, even Xemnu.

It'd be nice if we could get Lyla packed with another figure like Rocket or Cosmo.
I agree it would be cool to get Kraglin with a look from the other films. Maybe a better painted version of BAF Mantis, too.

As for the comic inspired uniforms, I'm kinda torn. I like the look but matching uniforms don't fit a ragtag bunch like the Guardians. I'll likely get one and see if I like it enough to purchase the others.

Yes to a finless head for Kraglin.NORM wrote: Certainly not skipping any figures related to this movie. I kinda hope Kraglin comes with a head without the fin, to give him a Vol 1 or 2 look.

Hm. Just realized this is the latest "the movie isn't even out and we already have almost enough known figures for a second wave". (Assuming that leak is correct.) And yes, I feel it's a safe bet one second-wave figure would be a Starlord.

Especially if they pull an Endgame thing and throw in some figures like Infinity War Heimdall and do a figure of Ayesha (who may be in Vol. 3 for all I know).

Taken another way it could symbolize that they've matured into a cohesive unit.

That’s exactly how I see it. They’ve gotten their collective act together just in time for it to be ripped apart.CTVampSlayer wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 7:46 pmmaczero wrote: ↑Sat Dec 03, 2022 3:04 pmYes to a finless head for Kraglin.NORM wrote: Certainly not skipping any figures related to this movie. Makes sense. And with them now owning Knowhere, it feels like they're taking their roles more seriously rather than only being guns-for-hire.
Also, if they did a second wave, wouldn't be a bad place for 2-3 comic figures to go. But probably wouldn't happen until 2024 anyway.

Re: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 wave (2023)
I can see Hasbro going all out for Vol 3. It sounds like there will be plenty of material for at least a wave or 2- all the Guardians in their new costumes (that's 6 figures already), Cosmo, Lylla, Adam Warlock, the new deluxe Groot, Gamora, High Evolutionary (probs the BAF), and any other characters who may have a prominent role. I wouldn't be surprised to see a deluxe (Groot), and maybe a store exclusive or two. Would be nice to get Ayesha and Stakar too, maybe a Taserface if they want to go back. Plenty of untapped potential.

Nice sleuthing. So there you go.
I also wouldn't be shocked at a Yondu flashback since Gunn has yet to make a movie without Rooker, so there's an easy repack. I saw Stallone and Rosenbaum are listed in the cast as well, so Stakar and Martinex are a couple more possibilities.
