I think collectors are probably largely okay waiting. But I do think sales after the fact may be lower for less hardcore collectors. Hence why they want it out with the movie.

A delay like this is hopefully an indicator that they were closer to final costumes/renders for the actual figures released.

I completely forgot how off the helmet was on that first Ant-Man release.

They’re announcing something next week but who knows.

I'm looking forward to the new MCU Wasp figure, her new black and yellow costume looks great in the trailers/stills I've seen.

My Target is selling through D+ 3 and 4 pretty quickly.

I was surprised how fast they sold through She-Hulk.

Ms. Marvel is the one warming pegs to no surprise, and the What If... figures.

I liked the She-Hulk show well enough, I don't get the hate. Her figure was one of my favorite ML's of last year.

As far a D+ wave 3, still readily available in my area. They just hit half off clearance at one of my Targets.

As for why we aren't seeing Quantumania figures........let's take our time with that, Hasbro. At these prices, I don't want a figure of the pre production images they send you that won't even make it to the movie. Release these figures next year if that means they'll be accurate. Particularly this movie where everything in it looks like it will be CGI and can change with the click of a mouse the night before release.

That would be great if that's the reason for the 'delay', but I doubt it is. And if these are coming in July, that isn't enough time for them to do anything about outdated designs anyway.
