I do like Cyclops, but I'll wait until a regular release comes out in this look.

Personally I think Hasbro should have held off on Sinister and Mystique and gave us Gambit and Rogue with the cel-shaded treatment.

Cyclops on the new Vulcan body. The body has the butterfly joints.

I really hope this line truly IS on a break and not done for good. The cover box artist said Cyclops was the last piece he was hired to draw.
I would bad sad to not see Rogue, Gambit, Magneto, and Cable get the animated treatment.

Cyclops looks great and I like that they didn't just use the Vulcan body, but they augmented it to better fit the belts. The fact that it is a new body makes me think they will eventually do a Retro version as well, but the question is when? I put in a pre-order just in case it sells out before i can make my final decision. It will be awhile before i have to decide if I want to cancel or not.

Animated Cyclops looks really nice. Maybe the best in this whole animated line. I only have Wolverine so far, but I have to order this Cyclops.

Makes sense to "take a break" on this line given they released Beast in a different series and Gambit still is available at Target and Rogue was until recently. But it does suck to start a line look and not finish it.

I still want all the main nine on characters on orange cards.

I wish Cyclops had a blasting head.

How long are we waiting for that Cyclops to hit general release with a regular deco? 2023? 2024?

Maybe they can do a boxset with the remaining few main cast cell-shaded, with the box looking like an old VCR to go with the Mojo TV and the VHS boxes?

Two for sure. Cyclops looks like he’s going to be the best figure in this line. Appropriately beefy and having the chest straps broken up over the sculpt like this will do a much better job than those one-piece webgears they kept giving him and Deadpool.

I think I’d be fine if they just ended the line with Cyclops. Retro card Beast, Rogue, and Gambit are already pretty much the right colors for the show and I can paint random stripes on them if I felt the need. The VHS boxes are fun and I’ve kept them out on my bookshelf but I don’t think I need one for everybody.

Yeah, I hope so too. I considered my goals with the line to be rather small, but getting the main cast was one of them. I though they had it lined up perfectly to take this line into 2023 all the way to the new show, and then they could come back in 2024 with Spider-Man TAS if it was warranted to mark that show's 30th. Instead, they're jumping to Spidey a year earlier than expected.
