Oh yeah! Got some of both 1st and 2nd release. Wouldn't waste them on this Wolvie, though.

Yeah most likely just Wolverine, and Havok for me. Not interested in anyone else. This will be the 2nd X-Men wave in a row I don't complete. Like many others I'm cutting down and really considering if it's a figure I need. Really hope an Avalanche is coming soon...

Anybody think Darwin would make a decent base for a serious AOA Morph head, or too space alien-y?

Probably no worse than the eXiles head which I felt was too soft. Best Morph head is still Madcap in my opinion

Great call, might be the best option. Hopefully paint rub won't be too much of an issue.

Nah. I've painted the claws on almost all my Wolverine and X-23's and never had an issue with that.

If you gave him ears & painted his face white, he would make a good base for a classic Caliban.

Yeah, by June this wave should see heavy discounts.

I hope you're right, because the only figure worth the full price of admission is Havok (and mainly for his accessories, sad as that is to say). The problem is, I really want Bonebreaker. Sigh.

That'd be the other option. Might be a chore to find a body to fit gangly weakling / powered down Caliban though.
