I always assumed it was a simple way to make sure people connected the right pieces.PurpleLantern wrote:Might be McF DC Raven.
I've been browsing older BAF torsos and a lot of times the torso peg that connects to the legs/thighs have right peg looking different size than left peg. Why was that?

I find that the kneepad to the toy biz 1998 X-man from the Most Wanted wave works as a good jewel. It requires repainting of course.

That would require destroying a pretty good figure though. That was one of my faves growing up. I have such fond memories of playing with it.Mooselander wrote:I find that the kneepad to the toy biz 1998 X-man from the Most Wanted wave works as a good jewel. It requires repainting of course.

Re: ML Part Swaps
That's true, but on the other hand, it'd be cheaper to buy one of those than to get a mcfarlane raven figure. And then you'd also have extra flame accessories.Trunks3540 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 7:55 pmThat would require destroying a pretty good figure though. That was one of my faves growing up. Re: ML Part Swaps
The fact the skin tones look like they match is astounding. We can't get a Wolverine with matching skin tones but 2 unrelated characters are so close, that's crazy.

I'm not overly familiar with either character, so can I ask why that fixes them? Hair colour? Face sculpt?kailryu wrote:Fixed these two

Re: ML Part Swaps
My guess is he wanted a prettier face on MH since she's usually portrayed as quite hot in the comics, whereas Vertigo's look varies from hot to not very attractive.

Re: ML Part Swaps
Madame Hydra's hairstyle is so unique that it's hard not to see that as MH and Vertigo wearing each other's costumes.

Re: ML Part Swaps
Did my Avalanche!

I used The Hood's head, as the only Sandman head I could find cost more than I spent on Avalanche as a whole, so...
After the insanely stressful & difficult job of pulling it off the stock face, I test fit before doing any trimming, and then did a little at a time, testing the whole way, until the eyes/eyebrows/nose were where I wanted them. It's a smaller head, but I still like it, and I didn't glue it down, so I can revert it back or put a different face in there should I choose. I DID have to make Hood's hole deeper, as it fit the ball perfectly, but sat REALLY high, haha.
I wanted to ask everyone a question though...who has this U.S. Agent head, and is it cast out of flesh-colored plastic with the mask painted on, or mask-colored plastic with the flesh painted on?

Because I kinda like that face better, but I obviously don't want to see a black mask peeking out from under the metal helmet, lol.
