Yes WoS are the playmates line. Other than them the only other company I remember was mcfarlane but those were more like diorama statues and then neca.

kordos 10.95"

so yeah the aliens are huge and the price make sense.

True it says that but if you look at the details and specs; it gives you the exact measurements. Honestly I can’t tell if those are correct or estimates but I’m going off those.

NECA also did that spiritual sequel line that focused mostly on celebrities. They scale with World of Springfield, but I’d imagine they stick out since they were fully painted and pretty on model.

Based on your picture, if the "product" is 10.95 but the box is 10" so thats a whole inch thats gonna be sticking out of the box? so confused rite now...

It’s probably 8” (or there about) to the top of the head and 10.95” to the tip of the dome. The dome might not be on the figure in the box allowing the box to be 10”. Or Super7 messed something up somewhere.

Mattel also made a small line of figures back in the early 90's, consisting of the family members, Nelson, and Bart as Bartman. I wanted these so much as a kid but Simpsons were frowned upon by my parents for a while. The card deco for them is pretty awesome. Their blue-shirt Bartman is what I wanted S7 to emulate.

The reason I reckon that Kane and Kodos are around 12~ inches total is the top of their dome.

Take Burns as an example of a normal 7 inch figure. Unless he's much shorter, if he does stand at 7, Kane and Kodos have to be at least 8-9 inches tall, without their dome. The dome itself goes much higher, with the tip being around 11-12 inches. Just by eyeballing it anyways.

Also it needs to be said, the boxes are not final. They give out a generic idea of how big the boxes are and figure that out later.

I would guess the difference comes down to either the helmet not being on the head in box or the tentacles not being fully extended.

I haven’t looked, but is 10” their standard box size? Maybe they just copy and pasted it for Kang and Kodos, even though their boxes might be bigger.

Dimensions of Burns- Package Dimensions (in) 9 x 10 x 4
Dimensions of Kang/Kodos- 9 x 10 x 7.5

So assuming they planned this right, it would seem they expect to have the bubble off of the figure. Though I also know from experience, these are just early ideas for how the packaging works and can change- the Dragonzord from the POwer Ranger line was shown in a 'normal' box in the preview stuff, but was commented that the box would have to be radically changed to accommodate the design. I imagine the same thing will happen here.

I'm sure the box dimensions were a cut and paste template they have for most Ultimates, and someone just didn't catch it.

Mumm-Ra is larger than a standard figure, and his box was bigger, so I assume the same is true for the aliens.

Did Ralph ever wear that do not hug sign in any episodes? Regardless if he did, it works so well for his character.
