Other than a significant amount of paint flakes (see NECA) these are sooo well done.

Just wish they weren't so pricey!

You mean paint flake in the joints, right? Or the figure in general?

Are the joints cast in a reasonable matching colour?

I think joint flaking is part of the process, at this price level.

I think that it must be harder to protect the joints while painting and it’s easier to just let it flake afterwards.

My main issue is when the joint is cast in a completely different colour from the adjacent parts.

That's honestly expected when moving the joints around, which makes me wonder why some companies even bother doing it.

After testing all their joints (extra hands, too), my lap was COVERED in orange & green paint chips, lmao.

I really should've taken a picture, lol.

I got my 2 cat warriors on Saturday and was able to open them yesterday morning.

They definitely live up to the hype. I'm interested in the felines from wave 2, and possibly some of the normal simian grunts.

I want to get my hands on one of these so bad that I almost ordered one from the site. My KS stuff won't come until wave 2 is done, but there's a few wave 1 figures I didn't bother with. Unfortunately (or fortunately), the shipping cost is high enough to keep me away. It's not unreasonable, but it's a lot for just one or two figures so I'll just have to settle my ass down and wait.
It is slightly irritating that we keep getting the 'Int. folks will get their stuff when wave 2 is ready' but it doesn't seem like they ever bother to give an idea of when that will be. Not a huge deal or anything. It'll take how long it takes. I'm just being impatient.

Impatient myself since I decided I needed some figs to fight my Geralt and DST Aragorn and discovered Spero was doing 6". I really need the wave 3 lioness redone as a black panther or leopard.

I assume so given the price but there is no info out there I can find, even from Spero themselves.

I’m just going to wait and see if Spero offers it themselves with minor differences like 4H is doing with their exclusive. Weird to see the Spero Toys social media just be radio silent on this.
