The only Alien figure I've had trouble with was an Alien 3 dog alien, but I was lazy and didn't heat the joints on one of the legs and it snapped on me within 5 minutes of opening it up.
I'm a big fan of NECA's output though! My advice: if any joints seem stuck or stiff on your Rhino Alien, heat them with a blow dryer before moving. Don't force it. That's about it. Enjoy!

Re: NECA Aliens
I’d extend that to just any NECA figure. Love their stuff and the actual figures I’ve had issues with is probably less than 10%. But I warm up everything from them when I take them out of the box.

Re: NECA Aliens
I picked up one of the rhino aliens I'd been seeing at Target from newer shipments, and I found they've gone and given them the new ball hips (were those on the blue one???), and, at least on mine, appear to have glued the dome down. It won't come undone at all. Which is kind of nice... Also the figure itself has a much richer color to it this time, the old one is dulled, but this one is very shiny and "slimy" looking. The reds are really brought out on the chest, it's very nice. Even the blacks are darker and shinier.

Re: NECA Aliens
I was at Target today and saw that they had a few Resurrection Warriors on the shelf. They caught my eye because I thought they were long gone, and I haven't picked up any Alien stuff in a while. I was going to buy one, but when I checked the price they rang up as $36.99. Is that normal?

Re: NECA Aliens
As with most things over the last year, prices have gone up on most NECA products as well.

Re: NECA Aliens
I was expecting a creep up to $30, but I was shocked they're almost $40 now. Oh well, someone will buy them, I'm sure. I'm happy with my $6.50 Reed Richards.

Re: NECA Aliens
NECA figures are insanely overpriced here in Australia. I was waiting to find the updated Kane figure as I wasn't comfortable re-buying a figure I already had just for the John Hurt head. Finally had one arrived after a recent 20% off sale. It's a definite improvement. Plus I can display both looks. Does mean I had a spare facehugged head and I thought it surely might work on one of the Mattel Ghostbusters as they had the head/neck sculpt as one piece as well. Turned out perfect!

Re: NECA Aliens
I just recently got a first release Dog off eBay (the Ultimate cost too much), and I actually have the reverse problem. All the joints are so loose, it's [email protected] near impossible to get him to stand up (on four legs - I have no interest in xenos that walk upright lol).TheRealSmallville wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 7:07 pmThe only Alien figure I've had trouble with was an Alien 3 dog alien, but I was lazy and didn't heat the joints on one of the legs and it snapped on me within 5 minutes of opening it up.

Re: NECA Aliens
Figured this thread deserved to be brought back to life for a moment. This new set of Aliens is really striking, I like them much better than the first set from Fireteam Elite.

Re: NECA Aliens
I still hope we get Lambert, Kane, and Dallas in their regular outfits at some point.
I'd also buy Call in a heartbeat too.

It pains me to see this thread on page 6
I don’t believe there is a single Alien figure we are waiting for…
The Dallas, Lambert, & Kane thing bothers me. They obviously had their likenesses. What re they waiting for?

I'm with you. I keep hoping for something new for this line, but also some humans for the Predator line and a couple of refinements for Terminator.dHunter333 wrote:It pains me to see this thread on page 6

At one point they did hint at a deluxe Predalien, and the Ultimate AvPr Warrior body is already out there…(Sewer mutation alien)
