Yeah, the B+W looks cool and all, and they would look good as a set, but if you have a mixed horror display, color gonna fit better, IMO.

New MacReady with the flame thrower & other stuff up for pre-order today. Would have been cool as an add on but ok!

Man I wish one of the Macreadys came with a lit flare. It would go good with the dynamite!

I immediately gave my MacReady the flair from the Jurassic Park Jeff Goldblum figure. Works well enough for me!

Remember last time Randy was talking on the Fwooshcast and he said they'd have a bunch more reveals/teases in mid-September? Well... I've got a bit of hope for this coming week, but I'll try to keep it in check. :)

Looks like they’re teasing something Dungeons & Dragons related. Maybe a creature line of dragons to sort of replace the loss of Godzilla?

I don't know much about it, but guesses I've seen that seem plausible would be updates of the old Warduke and Strongheart figures from the Advanced D&D toyline.

OMG... I want a 7" Advanced D&D figure line reproducing the toys from the 80's so bad. I will be all in on these. I would guess Warduke will be one of the first offered. I wonder if they will come in packaging that calls back to the LJN toys similar to what they did with the ComicCon Flash Gordon figs?

I don't think NECA could have teased anything I would be more excited for than this.

Warduke was one of my faves as a teen, I’d get him for sure!

Those do absolutely look like the right shades for their armor.

Warduke and Strongheart were the only two AD&D figures I got as a kid. I liked the look of those two and was interested in getting into the line. Unfortunately, Warduke's arm broke off not long after getting him and killed some of my interest in getting more from the line. Wasn't my fault since I was anally careful with my toys, it was just a fragile figure. If that's what these are I'll be extremely interested.

General NECA Talk

Ok I know I run the risk of being ridiculed by those wanting a 6” or 7” figure line, but NECA is doing these with WizKids which specializes in gaming miniatures. Highly detailed miniatures. I really hope these are based around the scale of the pictured NECA Gears of War figure I’m posting. Hear me out though. Dungeons & Dragons has very big monsters that I very much hope to be able to collect and it would be great to incorporate cool figures into the RPG table top battles. It would also be awesome to have Tiamat scaled to these figures and not have to keep that dragon figure in the garage because it doesn’t fit in your home. I also envision creating rather large armies of Orcs and Dwarves and knights mounted on horses. I’m kinda torn between 4” scale and 7” scale for the reasons I have stated. Maybe we get the best of both worlds and they will do both?

Ok I truly am conflicted within on this. Do I want 6”-7” scale or 4”? That Arthas figure is absolutely one of my favorites and a Warduke in that same scale? Grrrrrr! Okay I’m leaning to 6”-7”…….We still have all those great miniatures that are made to scale with our monsters.
