I'm assuming the shipping charge will also include sales tax, so that may be why it seems high.
That may be the case.

But should Kickstarters include taxes? Technically we didn't buy a product, we donated money to help fund a project. And they are sending product as a reward, There is no guarantee of product, Kickstarter makes that very clear.

I don't feel like I've ever paid taxes on a Kickstarter before, but maybe other projects included that in the price and I just never see that aspect ...
I'm no tax expert, but I would think that since we're getting a product in return for giving them money, there would be sales tax involved; most states prefer to define a sale like that, lol. This is my first Kickstarter experience, so I can't say one way or another on how previous ones may have handled it. It was probably included in the price if you don't remember paying separate sales tax after the fact. Do other campaigns normally send out an amount due for shipping once rewards are ready?

I did want to say that I noticed the amount due on the order total in Backerkit has been updated for me, though. It was previously showing $65 for 9 builders and the 2-pack, but has been updated to a more exact number at $50.11. Still don't see a way to send payment, so I'm just hoping they will charge automatically to the payment method already saved.

I tried to follow the steps, but I do not see a way to pay for shipping, or select shipping. I do see a $26 order total though. Is that supposed to be shipping (I paid the $100 for the figures long ago)? I only ordered one copy of the Gorgo and Atilla 2-pack. That's pretty expensive shipping for that. Should be closer to $15.
I logged in and noticed my total was reduced from $26 to $16 (and change). Which is a more reasonable shipping charge, and more along the lines of what I would expect.

I'm finding myself really wanting to build up a set of those cool little goblin figures in this line. I've ordered the two recent legion builders and Thumpp, and will get Swigg as well - but the others seem to be pretty pricey/tough to get. I really want Snagg!

I'm a bit of a rookie with Mythic Legions (only have a few MOTU tributes, and Phobos). Is ebay pretty much the only option for the older Mythic Legions figures?

same here, for the gorgo 2 pack and an arethyr coin. No other movement though, looks like they are going to drag this out even longer, very frustrating. was hoping to at least have these before next weekend.

I would join the Mythic Legions Cabal Facebook page and look for sales there. You can get more reasonably priced figures there, but it's hit or miss and an take some patience (and caution, check for member activity and pay Goods and Services). I know that I have sold quite a bit there, and I always list my items cheaper there than I do on Ebay. You'll save at least 10%, but often a lot more (plus you save on taxes). I've both sold good deals, and purchased good deals there (compared to Ebay).

Also, figures do at times come back via All Stars releases, so waiting sometimes pays off. At least that’s what I tell myself.

I got into the line the day i saw the Arethyr proto from their con, I've yet to get anything on ebay, way too pricey for when i looked. Don't do facebook, so I've just waited for in store sales, which sadly have dried up, except the recent test shots and con stuff.

I also just hope for all star releases these days, and cherish the figs i was quick enough to snag in store, including King Nog'lin, when they had that all goblin sale awhile back. HIGHLY recommend that one, no matter the price, IMO, he's worth every penny. I've got at least 30 figs, now and he's my second favorite next to Arethyr. Sadly he's my only goblin, right now

Thanks for the replies guys, I really appreciate the info! I don't do Facebook, but my wife does, so I may tap her account and see if anything pans out. Will definitely keep an eye out for all-star re-releases as that seems like the most affordable option if it ever happens.

I just checked out that King Nog'lin. Holy crap what an awesome figure! But damn.... none even available at the moment, and the last few closed at around $200. Definitely a "you snooze, you lose" line of figures!

yikes! i got mine for standard pricing, $35. not sure if I've seen him come up on all stars voting at all, but you never know. Really wish they'd bring back random restock sales like those again. was also lucky enough to snag Malleus, calavius & argammedes that way.

Nog’lin is a huge want for me as well, hopefully he’s on the ballot!

I’m really excited to get my All Stars 5 + order in. I need me some Duban and Boreus, hopefully they ship out soon!

Nice pics! I’m really looking forward to Swigg (and the hands and weapons pack from Poxxus to go with him eventually)

I’m newer to Mythic Legions, has Torgun Redfin or whatever the shirtless dwarfs name is come up in All Stars voting?

No I don’t think Torgun has been up for a vote with All Stars series. There has only been three All Stars waves since Torgun’s release. I think All Stars wave 6 might have another dwarf offering. I really want Halmyr to get another release. I love just about everything about that offering: armor choices, color, weapons, helmet, and his beard color. I just had not jumped into the line quite fast enough.

All Stars 5 gave us the Dwarf head to use and legion builder reinforcement had the Bronxe dwarf in that wave. The Deluxe legion builders wave had a deluxe dwarf legion builder. So there has been three new-ish Dwarven offerings.

How often do they "release" waves for order? I'm new to the Mythic stuff, but I've gotten a few knights and the Headless Horseman that I'm happy with so far.

That's a great group of dwarves you got there, I kind of regret passing on that Legion Builder Dwarf. Had he come with a different set of pauldrons or maybe one of the new leather gear bodies, I probably would've grabbed him. But the new head alone wasn't enough to sell me on em.

Halmyr's probably one of my favorite dwarves for the simple reason that they gave him different shoes. Small changes like that can make a world of difference with these figures. I wish more Dwarves had a better variety of armor pieces as for a long time they all had the same exact build. Personally, I feel the Dwarves are the weakest of the Mythic offerings, simply because there hasn't been much variety offered from them. But the past few figures have been really nice, and they have a much stronger part library now so hopefully Dwarves continue to see improvements in the future.

....too often to be honest. Including the Cosmic stuff, which they stagger between Mythic waves, we're currently waiting on six different pre-orders. The retailer wave, which is kind of a weird one, just went up two weeks ago and at the end of the month the next Cosmic wave goes up (which will be the third Cosmic pre-order with no figures in hand yet).

If you want to follow the line, sign up for the newsletter (or do all the social media stuff if you're into that). They usually launch a new pre-order every few months or so, and this year we're supposedly getting a ton of knights and skeletons, all with new parts and builds.
