I'm not here to keep people from being critical, just respond to criticism. I think a lot of care was made to keep the figures on- model, and avoid line- breaking articulation, so they aren't as poseable as they could be. But I've had some success shooting them, I think.

Is this the year for the Darkwing duck figures? I have been anxiously awaiting the reveal.

Came here looking for word on Darkwing Duck. Not disappointed.

Personally hope he's not TOO tall.

In episodes with Comet Guy who is portrayed as a freakish alien (the gag is that he's human), Darkwing comes up to about the top of his abs. Similarly in the episode "A Star is Scorned", Darkwing is shorter than humans.

But probably more important from a design standpoint, if Darkwing himself fills the box then there's no real way to do a Launchpad (who's a head taller) or a Steelbeak (who's taller still). Other big characters include Gizmoduck and Tuskernini. Stegmutt and Morgana are taller than Launchpad!

I know this is a one off figure but I'm hoping it does so well that Diamond will try to do more. I don't know if a Stegmutt or Tuskernini is a practical thing to consider but Launchpad, Gizmoduck, and maybe Morgana are. (There is a ridiculous level of fandom love for Morgana, especially among women. I don't think it's ever been adequately catered to and I think any Morgana merch will be very difficult to get because of instant sellouts.)

Pretty sure we're aiming to make him in the 1/10 Select scale, meaning he'd be smaller than a human figure, but I will post any updates I get.
