I sell 4 inch customs but I'm been on ebay as a seller for 2 years and only got 1 rotten apple, since that day my rules are simple;
Domestic have tracking(insurance optional) because I can prove with the tracking number he/she got the item and international is Priority (insurance included) why? it's faster (2-3 weeks)and if he do not receive the item I can give him/her the money back (not before explainin to the buyer that the USPS will make an investigation to verify that the item in fact is lost). But since that day nobody have complain so I guess everybody got their figs...right?
With so many changes on Ebay rules it's hard to fight this people,so you have to play Ebay's game...
1)send invoice as soon as auction ends :D
2)send invoice at third day :)
3)send invoice at seventh day :(

now the fun begins

at the 8 day open a "unpaid item dispute", the buyer will be notify of this every time he log in to Ebay, if he doesn't answer in 9 day you can close the dispute, the fees will be refunded and if he leaves negative feedback you can report him :P

hope this helps.

sensei0217 is worth watching out for.

He won an auction from us (thornstudio) and then after getting the invoice, sent a message saying that he just moved and wouldn't be able to pay so would appreciate it if we'd cancel the transaction. We contacted eBay, trying to be nice and got the transaction canceled. We relisted the auction. 2 days in to the auction he once again was bidding on the auction he had already won and had us cancel!

So we have blocked him and canceled his bids.

Watch out for that guy!

Got a new one for everyone.

voret86 - Bought and paid for a commission on eBay. They are from Spain and expected me to finish a commission and have them recieve it within 2 weeks (they paid standard mail). Even if I could have gotten it done in 2 days, there would have been no guarrantee that they would have gotten it when they wanted it.

The buyer gave me no timeline on when they wanted the item when they purchased it. A couple of days after the commission was paid for my uncle died. I told them I needed to take some time for myself. They seemed okay with it. And 3 days after that they opened a dispute on eBay. Okay if I told you I was taking some time, and wasn't going to be able to work on much (which they said was fine), why would you open a dispute 3 days after that? It makes no sense. Do they not have a conscience? Some peoeple, I tell you, I swear their brains do not work properly.

I ended up just giving them the refund just to get them away from me. I had the item halfway sculpted. What a waste of time. Now I'm going to have to finish it and try to sell it to someone else.

Everybody add this one on right now:

migueltig

He won over $600 worth of customs from me, but never paid me, and won't respond to any emails. Block him right away, total time waster.

Re: Deadbeat Sellers list?

How about a new deadbeat seller. A little birdy pointed me to an auction in the UK where some guy trying to sell his own custom figure, was using my photo(2nd photo in his listing) of my Sinestro Corps Cyborg Superman to represent his work (which is funny because the other photo, which must be of his figure, looks nothing like mine.)

I also contacted this guy personally asking him nicely to cease using my image, he claimed someone "gave him" the photo and that he see's no copyright on the image(despite my logo being clearly shown in the bottom right corner, lol) and asked me to prove it!?

seller name: chrisccmad

here's the listing, my report to ebay was apparently too late to stop his auction:

Got another one. dvog4020

Bought item, didn't respond to emails and invoice for about 5 days, said he would pay soon but never heard from again. Already opened and closed a case to get my final value fee back. The guy has great feedback, only because ebay doesn't allow sellers to leave neutral or negative feedback, so look out for this one.

maybalrog2010 , types in e-tard language - may have just been screwing with my auction to the benefit of another Luke Cage custom since the location of that custom is pretty close to his.

Two new ones to add:

shamrockxmen - Wouldn't respond to emails, and never paid.

marcial103 - Complete and utter nightmare. Orders a bunch of customs off of eBay from me, kept changing his mind about what he wanted, then wants to only pay for one item now, and pay for another a month later. Then disappears, and doesn't pay for anything. Wouldn't respond to any emails when it came down to payment time, before then he was extremely chatty. I leave bad feedback for him, and then he leaves a follow up feedback saying that he did pay for them and that I'm the liar. What a piece of work that jack*** is. I followed up on that feedback as well. I hate dealing with idiots like that.
