Next is a quick and dirty repaint of a remote control motorcycle that I think I bought on clearance at Menards years ago. It was neon green where all the red is now and I painted the mufflers and the cowl a gun metal. Pretty much Destro as a motorcycle. :D

And here is the Cobra jet fighter I've decided to call the Fer-De-Lance. Made from a Lightyear Blast and Battle XL-15 that I tore apart and gutted the action feature to make room for 6" figs. Baroness might have fit on her own but Destro never would have.

Nose gun is from an Marvel Legends MCU Hydra/Red Skull and the wing cannons are from guns that comes with Alter Nation Sabotage.

Overall I'm pretty happy with how they have come out. Could use some touch-ups and I'd like to get some decals down the road for them. Maybe add some missiles for the jet.

This is great, thanks for the pics! I bought an extra one of these for Star Wars Vintage Collection, but looks like it works well for GI Joe too!

Howdy hey, everybody. I've also posted this in Custom Galleries but like a doof I forgot about this thread so, here goes.

Like quite a few people, the Lightyear toys have inspired me.

First post is the Joe pseudo FLAK cannon. (pic quality isn't the best. Definitely need a new camera)

It's a tight fit but you can get a 6" figure in there. I'm planning making a bunch of different versions like one Cobra and different lines. Black Series Empire, Marvel Legends Hydra, A.I.M., Stark Industries, SHIELD. Blasting Xenomorphs.

The barrel is made from a water brush and can be taken apart and configured differently.

Thanks for checking out my stuff.

Doubt I am done with the Cobra Officers when Gridiron keeps cranking out cool gear:

Just finished a couple Spirits & Freedoms. What do ya think? I scratch-built a couple things, did a wash & dry-brushing, added a soft-good backpack and a tactile set from Grid Iron (love them!).

Those are incredible images.
I searched eBay in vain hoping to find some of those Native American accessories.
Much respect.

A few more Quick and Dirty mods

I figured since Sarge is a lager than life character, give him a larger than life gun. From a Marvel Legends punisher

I took the head of Infinity War Steve Rodgers, hollowed it out a bit and put in on Tiger Stripe Duke. I guess I'm one of those heathens that had zero problems with the first release of Duke, and even though I still dig the re-paint, I'm also a weirdo when it comes to having two of the same character in different setups on the same shelf. So, boom, new character. He can be code named "Off Road", "Dusty Butt", or "Not Duke". Not sure yet.

These are the Cobra Island Vipers with the arms from the Action Force Duster figure to make them look more like classic Vipers. The arms swap easily with a little heat at the upper bicep swivel and the blue matches closely in color, they connect perfectly. You could place the Viper arms on the Duster but, the connection isn't the best and there's a harsh break of the sculpt between the shoulder and bicep, just more fodder for later I guess. The red goggles are from the Python Patrol Viper. The Vector is from Gridiron's Enemy Squad Support load Out and the SCAR-L is from Valaverse's Weapons Pack Alpha. I have a lot more Dusters on the way, I might just turn all 5 of my CI Vipers short sleeve.

Nice mod! I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing this done by a bunch of people. Especially after the Duster figure went on clearance sale on the valaverse website.

Planning to paint the barrel gun a red for the Python Patrol B.A.T. similar to how the classic yellow/orange B.A.T.’s is painted.

I have my multiple Dusters now too. I'll change up the sleeves on two more CI Vipers as well. I wish I had two more Action Force Alpha packs though, I like using the gray Scar L from that set as a updated Viper rifle, I only have the one.
