I’m kind of unsure about the 4th tier now. It should be the ‘best’ one sine it has the highest unlocking goal. But they may be looking at the Skystriker and thinking they should have moved up the flight crew type tier to the third tier incase they fell short again of all the unlocks.
My best guess is the last tier is blast effects. I don’t think a towable item is in the cards. I could see that getting a pulse release later, whereas the blast effects are really only useful for those buying the tank. The towable items could be towed by other potential vehicles as well, not just the Hiss.
I hoping for an ‘unplanned’ GI Joe hack where we get some more items for a captured GI Joe version of the Hisstank, not unlike the Skystriker. That would be a fun bit story tie in to the other Haslab since Cobra Commander already referenced it in this campaign. Let GI Joe have their ‘revenge’ and give us some battle damaged parts, a Joe or two, and maybe some different decals or something.
But tier 3 more than makes up for the less than stellar tier 2 unlocks.

With the figures being individually packaged it would be nice if they took a page from other crowd funded projects and allowed you to order additional figures as long as you backed the project.

Thank you! I was so excited to order that I overlooked that.Buttmunch wrote:It’s on the ordering page - fall of 2023.
Although nearly all Haslabs seems to run behind schedule so I would be surprised if it was winter or spring of 2024.

Haha, yeah that’s exactly why I said ‘should.’ That certainly wasn’t the case. Had they revealed that any earlier, it might have gone backwards like the Rancor

Well heck. Three figures for a Hiss? That is actually enough for me so whatever this last tier is, I really won’t be disappointed if it’s a bust.

Yea can't be mad at this at all. Definitely curious as to what the last tier is. Thank God there is so much time left. I may spring for two. OR as suggested above give those who back already the option of buying more troops individually.

Tier 3 is fantastic! I was hoping we'd get at least 1 more figure. I can't wait to see what Tier 4 is.
Hopefully Tier 3 gets unlocked in a week or so. We're already at 12,700+, so we just need a little under 1300 more to get there.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it secures tier 3 by tomorrow, or at least by Tuesday when people might be getting back online from long weekend getaways. This tier seems to be doing its job and getting more people on board.Super Camel wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 11:03 pmTier 3 is fantastic! I was hoping we'd get at least 1 more figure. Bought 1 on the first day, it looked awesome and a great deal.
Just funded a second one after seeing that last unlockable, and feel comfortable with dropping $600 for the pair given all that is included. Hoping for a tow-able SMS, but if nothing else comes, I am still over the moon.

Got to say: I’m jealous of all you getting one (or more) of these. They look really good, and two figures as tiers is awesome. Would that I had the disposable income to drop on this. It’s the first Haslab I would’ve been all in on. Congrats to you all. COOOBRAAAA!

Like, $300 bucks is hard to come up with in a month, but since it's going to take a year to finish, why not also give us that time to sock away some money for when it's finally done.
Unless they do do it that way, in which case nvrmnd.

This is the first HasLab I'm backing so I don't exactly know how they work, but I'll just say I wish they allowed some kind of downpayment option or something to let you save up over the life of the project.DetectiveHoag wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 11:41 pmGot to say: I’m jealous of all you getting one (or more) of these. Unfortunately they don’t. It’s all at once the minute the campaign ends. Nothing before that so you can cancel up until the end without having to pay anything. I do think they’d end up making more of they had more payment options than all up front all at once.

But if they let people make payments it would have to be non-refundable...otherwise, when gas is $7 at Christmas (or any number of other variables for the next year) folks might start rethinking the extraordinarily large geek Hummel expenditure.Buttmunch wrote: ↑Mon Jul 04, 2022 3:01 amUnfortunately they don’t. Yeah. If they let people make payments or pay later, some people will just skip out on paying. Same rules as an crowdfunding. Pay up front to fund the project moving forward.
I keep saying Haslabs should produce an excess amount (extra 10%) and offer those via Pulse once the project is completed and in warehouses. I don’t think a small amount, like 10%, would reduce initial backers as it would still be hard to secure one of those excess units. But it would allow some people a chance who may have not heard about the initial fundraising or have seen progress reports and now would like one.
