That shirt is the selling point to me. All three of these are stellar. They make me want to see more of the Python Patrol and Tiger Force even more repaints of characters we have already. Characters like Roadblock and a Cobra trooper. They can do the COIL in those cool Tiger Force colors too.
This Outback is currently my most wanted figure, of what we actually know is coming, just edging out Croc Master. I am all in on any future versions they decide to do. Obviously the SURVIVAL version but I am down for a Night Force repaint too.
The PP BAT will look good with the Viper Officer....
So. Question:
When they inevitably release Python Trooper and Python Officer, should they flip the names back to the proper sculpts or release them reversed, like the vintage?
I loved the scale pattern on the Python Patrol vehicles, but the yellow and light grey on the uniforms kills it for me; I wish the uniforms were more black and red and dark grey. There was a Python Patrol Bludd figure released in the early aughts that is more what I wish the PP uniforms leaned toward. Tiger Force Outback is solid, though. I don't love all the TF uniforms, but I think they generally look better than most of the PP uniforms, do.
I remember hearing rumors of a Tiger Force Duke with vehicle...I hope that's a thing and see get to see it soon. Duke is still one of my fav Classified figures, and if they make him in tiger stripe pants with a green shirt like the classic figure, I'm going to love it.
I actually want TF Duke to have red hair. If you want blonde, you can always switch out the heads with the original or repaint classifieds Duke. And to make this TF Duke more tempting for collectors to buy another Duke, include the green helmet.
I actually feel like we might get a shadow tracker in this subline. He wouldn't require much more tooling besides the head, vest (maybe), and sword. He could be on one of the Roadblock/Gung Ho bucks and the archery accessories from storm shadow plus, he'd fit the jungle theme of this line.
Ooooh Shadow Tracker . . . I mean, no one said he *wasn’t* in Python Patrol . . .
Seriously: he would be rad, and he is kind of the anti-Outback for Cobra and also a fun “latter day” character that this line should definitely embrace.
