Ebay, obviously. You won't be seeing the Pizza Monsters from the NECA store for quite a while. My guess is December at the earliest.

Finally made one I felt was more applicable to me, as the usual one that floats around is G1 Transformers, and I just saw one of NECA Back to the Future, which had 4 of the 6 as all the different Martys, lol ("Marties"?).

AND, YES, I KNOW THAT'S MORE THAN 6. I DID IT ON MY PHONE. I DON'T HAVE PHOTOSHOP ON MY WORK COMPUTER, lol. :P

Probably late to the party but... the Super7 Shredder's soft goods cape looks great on the NECA cartoon Shredder. Much better than the cape he came with, in my opinion. I prefer the rubber cape on the Super7 Shredder anyway so that worked out great.

Seeing those BST AXN Turtle figures by Loyal Subjects opening pre-orders everywhere it makes me wonder what the issue is with NECA doing the same thing now. For years they told us over and over that they are limited by their deal with the license holder (its Nick right?) on what turtle figures can be sold in which avenues buuuuut if the Loyal Subjects got that deal worked out to be sold everywhere. So wonder what the hold up is now.

Different scale, different customer base than who Playmates is "selling" to. The AXN figures are ALL 5" tall, so there is no scale between the figures, so the line is aimed a certain collector subset (like POP or ReAction collectors with collections all in one size).

If NECA could sell any of the cartoon or movie figures anywhere, I have no doubt the Playmates "collector" figures they've been releasing would never sell to the general public, or collectors not aware of NECA.

In all honesty, I think NECA could probably offer everything as a pre-order now, or renegotiate with Playmates in order to do so, fairly easily. This was not always the case, but Playmates seems to have really lightened their hold on the license.

At this point it wouldn't surprise me if its NECA's working relationship with Walmart and Target that keeps them offering these as exclusives. Having those large orders locked in offers safety, and helps keep the doors open to sell their other products at those locations. With Toys R' Us gone, and Gamestop perpetually on the brink of Bankruptcy, there are not many large retailers left. You've go to keep those few happy.

Even Hasbro bends over backwards for Walmart and Target.

Yeah, I think it's plainly obvious at this point that NECA's release strategy is entirely driven by them. They see it as a benefit to have their product in Target/Walmart and giving each store an exclusive keeps them happy. It's obviously not something terribly prohibitive since they can seemingly pick and choose what they put up for order on their website. My guess is the only hurdle from Playmates at this point is just keeping NECA out of the standard toy aisle where they would compete directly with whatever TMNT product Playmates is selling.

Got my first peekza monster.

It's cool looking, was surprised to see a plastic, hinged pizza box. Expected one of those paper ones some of the other releases had. Need a Baxter to use the remote it comes with.

Problems, though:

Ankle pivot either isn't there or doesn't work
Paint on the hinges again
Tail looks weird, it has the two tone thing Neca likes to do in this line, so his back is the dark color, then the top of the tail is the light color that's on the front with the bottom being the dark color. Looks a little weird, IMO.

I do now have 3 baby peekza monsters, though.

I have to imagine NECA will have Casey up on their store eventually.
