Very excited for these guys, although I did cancel my Snowman and Hammerhand pre-orders. I might buy them later, but since I'm also a huge Batman fan, this year is just too expensive for some of these guest stars. I've decided to focus in on just the ThunderCats, Mumm-Ra, and the Mutants. (I'm keeping my Grune pre-order since he WAS a ThunderCat, after all. That's my justification and I'm sticking with it!)

That Battle Cat is on clearance for $12 at a local Target right now. Grabbing a couple - one of which is going to get a nice white/pale blue paint job and saddle modification to prepare for good ol' Snowman. Super7 may decide to do their own Snow Meow- and I'll support that when it happens - but in the meantime Snowman won't have to be without his trusty companion.

I have been strong so far on not opening my Faker/Dupli-cat set, but I could see Snow Man working with Dupli-cat with minimal custom work needed. Hell I could just do it straight, with no mods and call it a day anyway. Yes it would be too small, but I can just call him Snowmeow Jr.

Thankfully he isn't in my hands yet, but I'm sure once he arrives I'll cave because I am a weak, weak man.

Though Masterverse Battle Cat is dropping up here (Canada) as well. I saw him as low as $29 at one point.

Snowman does nothing for me. I'm so glad I'm not tempted at all on that one. I do wish I could find a clearance Battle Cat though.

I'm on the fence about many of my TCat pre-orders. As much as I say I'm a Thundercats fan (and I swear I am), I'm starting to realize that it's almost entirely Season 1. I don't really care about the S2 'Cats other than them just being part of the team, and this Hammerhand is decidedly NOT how I remember him looking.

In the interest of shaving some dollars, I keep thinking of canceling these specifically, but I keep chickening out since I doubt I'll get a second chance at them.

Going to have to make some decisions soon, though, if they're on the way.

I was primarily interested in just the core team but have to say-so far-the villians make for cooler looking action figures.

Even after looking at the review for Snowman, I'm still confident in my choice to pass. But I definitely gotta dig out Pumyra to go with Lynx-O. And I gotta figure out a way to make her shorter.

Season 2 never aired in my area when I was a kid, but I've since watched it multiple times thanks to the DVD sets and Hulu. But the first 5-parter from Season 2, the movie that introduced all three new ThunderCats did air near me, and we taped it. I must have watched that hundreds of times as a kid. I still love it, even though I know most of the lines by heart. I have a real affinity for the three new cats in particular from that movie, so there's no way I can skip them.
