Super7 Transformers ULTIMATES!!!!

When this line was first announced, all I cared about was Soundwave and the fact that I didn't jump on a preorder says a lot. Maybe a prototype will change my mind, but I'm really let down. I thought about getting Grimlock, but I don't think I will unless I find a good deal. I know it's a ways off, but I think the same may be true for Soundwave.

I have my issues with this line and the RED line, but being non-transforming Transformers is not my issue. I'm always going to display them in robot mode, I don't care if they actually transform. I don't need my Mutant Turtles figures to actually mutate.

Not as many Transformers collectors who would be interested in non-transforming figures. Anytime this comes up, there’s a large amount of TF fans who turn their noses up at something like that.

Which is hilarious because those same fans almost never transform their figures and are the first ones to screech when a robot mode isn’t animation accurate due to concessions given to transformation.

Transformers fans like the idea of transformation, but most just put the figure on the shelf in a museum pose in bot mode and never touch it again.

Are Transformers fans really that against non-transforming toys? I honestly don't know. I have a bunch of toys that fit in that category, so the fact that they keep getting made means that they must be somewhat popular.

My biggest problem with this line is my personal perceived lack of value. I have two RED Soundwaves, but I think the one in this line at $55 is a poor value. I don't know if that's a realistic perception, due to a personal unfamiliarity with the line or the fact that there are so many other Transformers options.

Got my bbts pol yesterday, opened up Optimus prime Ultimates! And wow! Much better then I expected. Im really enjoying this figure, commanding presence on the shelf. I really hope we get a Jazz, Ironhide and Hound. Really impressed with this figure.

That gave me enough reason bite on Optimus to get Optimus prime for less than a price of a marvel legend that crazy guess this line really didn’t sell well

To anybody that has this figure, he is LISTED as 7 inches tall BUT i saw 2 video reviews where he is 8 inches tall, which one is it?

7" scale isn't exactly correct. 7" scale would mean a 6' character would be scaled down to 7" tall. Transformers like Optimus Prime are much taller than 6'. The Super7 Ultimates Transformers line is a 7" line. That means the average figure will be about 7" tall. Scale doesn't come into play.
