What's the best place to find an Alcala Skeletor head custom or otherwise? Preferably painted and without having to use sticky tack for my New Eternia Skeletor. I've seen some on eBay and IG but not sure what the best options are.

The Alcala Skeletor head that comes with the Origins Rise of Evil set pops right on the Masterverse New Eternia Skeletor and looks *fantastic*.
I would be very interested to see that. Has anyone done so and posted pics online?

Not the Origins version but if you have the MOTU Classics Alcala head, it looks magnificent:

Dude.. that's what I just said and you were like 'no, we're not chatting.' You know, another word for 'having a discourse.' I didn't 'call you out.' I just disagreed with you. And then when you respond it's okay, but when I respond to your response, I'm somehow attacking you or trying to 'put you in your place.' You're being absolutely ridiculous, back-peddling, and contradicting yourself. All because I said 'nah, I don't think that's right' to your original post. That's where all this comes from.
I think this again is a case of miscommunication. I'm not backpedaling, contradicting myself, or being ridiculous. I meant it as this isn't just a conversation between you and I, but a public discourse with everybody participating, and we are just two participants within that framework. It was in reference that that it felt like the group had let the topic go, it was getting hotly discussed, and the forum had luckily moved on before it got nasty, and you going back to it days later, again after everybody moved on, it felt like you wanted to start it up again specifically with me. Your last comment, and my last comment were not where that discussion died off. My last comment quoting you wasn't even my last in the thread before the topic ended. Everyone was letting sleeping dogs lie, and you were starting it up again. You were making an issue of it again, and was in reference to the stirring the pot comment.

Also I'm not saying that responding is "attacking me", or "putting me in my place". I think you are definitely taking this out of context. I made it clear that it was in reference to you making inflammatory statements towards me/attacking my character. Saying things like my side of the discussion is "hard to watch".
(Now if this was taken out of context and you were joking, I apologize for taking you wrong, but within that paragraph you said honestly twice, so I took it at face value. When I was joking around I made sure to be completely clear by stating it, and you were telling me you are making that statement honestly. Even still, if you're joking with this, I didn't take jabs at your character. You're taking shots with the whole "hard to watch thing" as a subject of being pathetic/embarrassing. I would say we don't know each other well enough personally to be taking this kind of "friendly liberty".)
It would be one thing if it ended with that, but it went on from there. Asking if I'm okay, then further making personal comments along the lines of questioning my mental stability, or telling me I have a complex is more of the same from before, attacking my character compounded. It's bad enough reading for tone in comments let alone adding this to the mix. It's attacking someones character in order to debase their argument, and has noting to do with the discussion, and is more like lashing out than discussing the issue. Saying it's like dealing with a crazy person in regards to a discussion you are having within a group is like you are trying to publicly shame someone instead of making your points, and keeping it polite. Even if you feel that way, it's better if you keep it to yourself, and just discuss the topic instead of making personal attacks to degrade the conversation. It's changing a discussion to mudslinging. I didn't make any personal attacks at you during this, and the closest thing to making these type of comments was that I felt I was calling you out for this, and I'm sorry I wasn't more direct and clear from the start on that. Again, I don't take offense here, I just feel there's no need for that.

If you have more you would like to say to me about this stuff, please hit me up in the private messages. I understand if you have something else you would like to say to me, feel free to do it there. You and I have had an equal amount of the whole point vs point, thought vs thought thing. I feel bad, we aren't even on the MOTU topic at all now and are polluting the thread. I'm not going to continue this in the thread. However, if you want to keep it going here, I'm just going to ignore it. I feel guilty we're hijacking the thread with a bad vibe.
No grudge or ill will on this end.

A lot of diarrhea in this thread. I assume that's what PMs are for, but it wouldn't fluff you egos that way. How do I make all your post disappear?

This He-Man just makes me sad I have the Wave 1 and Orko two pack versions :/

Some new Mattel Masters of the Universe listings have popped up at Deep Discount most are unnamed but not all - https://bit.ly/3Y8Rr7E Masterverse: Grizzlor, Ram Man, Whiplash, Faker, Buzz-Off, Mer-Man

https://www.deepdiscount.com/mattel-col ... 4735111510
Ram Man

https://www.deepdiscount.com/mattel-col ... 4735111633
Whiplash

Ram-Man and Whiplash are both listed as Deluxe and at the Deluxe price. So I’m hoping that they’re bigger figures hopefully they’ll look like the 200x versions.
Whiplash might also include accessories for the cult version from revelation.

More and more figures getting bumped to that "Deluxe" price setting. The movie Skeletor being deluxe is just silly. If Ram Man is biiiig then it makes sense. I'm sure Whiplash is deluxe because of the cost to sculpt the tail piece and will be packed with like one extra accessory - or maybe an extra head since the vintage and 200x head sculpts were so dramatically different. Most excited actually for Grizzlor and Buzz Off really.

Had we already heard about this new Mer Man? I could have sworn we already knew another less-Revelations Mer Man was coming.

I'm pretty sure Mer Man was on a previously leaked list.

Anyone see the new 7" "discount" line?

Mega Jay Retro (originally from canaldosrosmineiros) showed off some pics and discussed the line.

Apparently they are going to be like those 12" 5POA "Titan" figures from Hasbro. But they will be 7" and have a bit more articulation. They look to be based on the original toy/filmation looks. They had pics of He-Man, Skeletor, Man-At-Arms and Merman. This could very well be just a discount line for foreign markets (South America, Africa, etc), but they could possibly also show up at discount retailers in North America as well.

Overall they look pretty good for what they are, and they could easily fit into the background of a Masterverse display.

They're definitely something.
But yeah, they look very much akin to all the other poorly-articulated junk figures aimed at kids. Maybe worse than usual because, like Titan figures, they don't even have a dynamic stance or anything. Just straight as a board up-and-down which just means they never look good. Obviously, they're intended more for kids but I'll never get why that immediately means 'so make them look awful no matter what you want to do with them.' And just not sure classic-looking MOTU figures with shitty articulation are going to be a huge draw for the kids - even the ones that actually know what MOTU is, when Origins and Masterverse are both out there and way better, and the kids also have the CGI figures which -are- a lot better than these in terms of being toys.

I would LOVE a classic-style Mer-Man in Masterverse. And Whiplash. Not sure I care enough about Ram Man, and definitely not enough about Grizzlor, to go Masterverse prices - especially not Deluxe Masterverse prices.

They're definitely abusing that Deluxe price point - especially for figures that are 90% re-use. Like KG. Yeah, he has a fabric cape. But besides that, a new head, and a unique shield and harness, the whole rest of that figure is just He-Man. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the Deluxe price point. They just use it whenever.

I'm -guessing- that they're going to make Whiplash big, like Two-Bad, which will kind of make it worthwhile.

The Foe feature. Which if you didn't actually know already is SUPER easy to figure out without dramatically asking. But you didn't want to know, you wanted to be seen asking. You know.. fluffing the ego.

It's criminal how the best He-Man head sculpt is on some 12" figure overseas.

One of the brighter things about the recession, price hikes, and the abuse of deluxes is that it is curing me of my fomo. If SheRa and Hordak taught me anything with Masterverse , it’s just to wait for a good sale at Target. I like these figures but I’ll leave the buying at higher than 21.99 for the folks with deeper pockets.

Really hoping they start introducing some 200x designs into the line. I think they'd translate perfectly.
