Re: DC General Thread
Can someone remind me what time Robin is supposed to go up for order? It's the 7th, correct? Exclusive to Todd's store? I may need to set my alarm, which isn't something I normally do, but this would be nice to get.

Oh damn sorry I meant Supergirl. That wave is just never coming though is it? Just need Power Ring to complete my Starro but just sucks cause I'm not sure they're gonna come at this point.JAG2045 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 1:16 pmOut of interest where in the UK has Superwoman? And do they have the Starro wave?TheGrammatizator wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 11:30 amStarted this year with the mindset that I was selling my collection...then all the new releases hit the UK and Captain Atom got leaked as coming.
Suffice to say I'm back, started with Signal which is a great fig and addition to the BatFamily.
Got Eradicator, Gladiator Bats and SuperBoy coming too in the next few days.
Saw Superwoman too in person, looks fine but no need for her personally. The PP Fate does look pretty badass though, again passed cause I've got the first release.

I would absolutely go all-in on 5 inch line, more so than a the '66 scale. I'm having so much fun with the Super Powers line, as I guess the 5 inch figures are still my preferred scale, even after all these years. It's nice to see it back.
Re: DC General Thread
The Dark Knight Collection Batman was close enough for me all through childhood, but I always wanted a proper Returns Batman and Penguin. The small Multiverse figure from Mattel of Penguin fits that bill, luckily.PG-Superfan wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 11:11 pmYeah. I'm hoping for core Multiverse for mixing and matching potential.Rex Mason wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 11:07 pmI could also see them doing '89 like the '66 line. Save money that way. It wouldn't be ideal, but it would give us some fun playsets. A proper Axis Chemical complete with Jack's "photo room," a Batcave, a Wayne Manor that lights up when the signal points in from outside. Lots to daydream about...
He could also do 89 Super Powers style. We never actually got a movie accurate Batman in Kenner or ToyBiz's lines. They both took liberties.
I'd probably collect in both Super Powers/Dark Knight Collection scale and 7" if he kept the small ones close to $10. A lot more toy possibilities even at 5".

We could get the Batmobile, the Batwing, Penguin's Duck Tank, the Batboat, Penguin Commandos. A lot new to the form factor as I don't think we ever got the duck at 5" scale. (Or latger.) And the Penguin train, the custom motorcycle, the Joker's goon car, the Jokervan.
There's also never been an especially movie accurate Batcave. Forever's Batcave toy was probably the best actual playset that didn't compromise the media look (aside from the DC Direct BTAS Diorama).
Axis Chemicals, Gotham Cathedral, and generic Burton rooftop set would also be fun.

I think a 5" line would have the most vehicle/playset potential.Rex Mason wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 7:59 pmThe Dark Knight Collection Batman was close enough for me all through childhood, but I always wanted a proper Returns Batman and Penguin. Re: DC General Thread
More listings have popped up, which, until I am proven wrong, I will consider being just as valid as if it came directly from Todd's mouth. Two items of note from me:
Whenever I see a listing preceded by "Gold Label", I cross my fingers that I do not read the name of a character I am interested in. In this case, I was safe. Six or so Gold Label Listings this time around.
It is very good to see Mr. Freeze is getting a shot at redemption so soon after the release of that first disappointment. I will hold out hope for the Page Punchers version. Whether it's an all-new sculpt or a reissue of the first one but painted this time, I don't really care. Just make it good.
Sorry if this has been posted already.

Re: DC General Thread
None of that is really new except the Gold Label part. All I want is Dread Lantern and Captain Atom. Not remotely committing to Batman Page Punchers without laying eyes on ‘em first.

Re: DC General Thread
The Bat wave of page punchers will most likely be a purchase. Others, not too bothered if they are harder to get a hold of.
