The back up has gotten better. At one point they had about 40 pre-orders out there, because they kept announcing in pairs when they had trouble releasing one figure every month.

I finally cracked open Hush Harley today and I like her. But I still think I see a lot of her Hush animated movie likeness in her facial features and costume details instead of the actual comic compared to the other characters in the line. But that might just be because her costume is so vibrant and clean in design and it’s throwing me off.

Those of us who collect Mafex figures are in for the long haul. We’ll acquire a handful of our favorite characters over the course of a lifetime and then we’ll die.

AmiAmi did an update. When I went to look at combining orders for December on Friday, there were at least nine Mafex figures across DC and Marvel. When I just looked, it only has Cyborg Superman for DC and the classic Spidey reissue for Marvel. Relieved for my wallet, but a little surprised they're not trying to get in a third one.

I think I may end up ordering my Mafex figures from NinNin from now on because you have to pay for you preorder at least a day before it's released. Being charged for three or four figures that drop on the same day because of delays is horrible.

Up to 2 weeks before the initial release month, regardless of if it’s delayed, so you could end up paying for it 6 months before it actually gets to you.

I finally broke down and opened MAFEX Harley. I'm glad I did. I think she's probably a slightly better figure than the Icons version (although the elbow articulation isn't as good!).

Ultimately, it's the brighter colors that did it for me. That, and it creates a more uniform look for the figures in my DC display. I don't think she's as good as Catwoman, but she does blow every other female figure I own out of the water.

A little tweet from Medicom was posted about Cyborg Superman arriving 12/20. Did that get moved up a week? I thought the original date was 12/29?
