I may try to go back and get Joker Hush. Anyone know a good place to grab it from Japan? I know BBTS does have it in stock, but I'm using them as a last resort.

The Medicom web site has it, but they're still charging insane shipping rates. Putting Harley and Joker in a cart is $123 for the figures and $119 for shipping to the US.

So I checked my Mafex preorders on AmiAmi for December and it's showing 11 figures still with December release dates, including Marvel, DC, and The Boys re-issues. There's no way that many figures ships, right?

Probably not, but I *think* they do try to squeeze out a bunch in December. I'm not sure if calendar year makes some sort of difference to them. Note: cannot back this up at all and unwilling to research further.

Whew. That is....depressing. To see what a horrible log-jam they've got themselves in is just sad. I can't believe we ever get any figures from them at all! I think the smart thing to do is take their estimates and add six months to a year to it.

Even with all these push backs, I guarantee there's still more to come. There's no way Mafex is dropping 9 figures in January, let alone any month. Best case scenario, at least for January, the top 5 listed get released and everything else gets bumped.

Put it this way, I'm not expecting to see Nightwing until at least March...

The back-up has gotten pretty absurd at this point. On one hand, it'd be great to clear out all these pending preorders. On the other, I don't want $1,000+ in Mafex charges hitting my card. I feel like they need to definitely up the releases per month and make it a predictable number for budget planning.

China has a ZERO Covid policy, so no matter how many cases may appear somewhere, it gets locked down.There were even protests about it over there.

This has no doubt taken a toll on factories and shippers, among everything else (including schools from the report I saw).
