Even though I'm not going to buy it (no room for it), I give huge props to Todd for even attempting a Batmobeast!

Yeah, I will be getting that Batmobeast for sure. I already have another DM Bats just waiting on that beast of a ride. I may even take this thing to work and set it up there. I have a huge old wooden Army file cabinet with nothing on top of it so this can sit there.

I think is a little strange and is the third figure with this at least in the dc line
I can live with it but I wouldn't want it to be a regular thing. What other figures have eyes looking off to the side?
Superboy Prime, Lex Luthor, 2022 Movie Batman, and Superman from Dark Night Returns all have the side eye.
Come to think of it, I think the JL movie Flash has his eyes looking slightly up and off to the side too. I have that figure and it's completely unnoticeable on the shelf. I have no worries.

I started to lose interest in the this line, but when I look at the figures that are coming out, it is slowly changing. It still is Batman heavy, but I'm hoping they are getting away from the Metal figures. They are cool looking figures but it seemed so depressing to me. I prefer more character variety and that is slowly happening, although they are not making versions of characters I would like.

Also, I read the critiques written in these posts and mostly the inaccuracies stand out to me. Things like the boots on Y2 Batman & Rebirth Superman as well as the side eyes. Unfortunately, I have had some real life financial issues recently and I don't need to buy any action figures right now. I have been cherry picking this line, but I may buy something if it's on sale.

Yep preordered DKR off BBTS since EE has not listed a set of four. I also preordered a second Superman to be used for a bigger Bizarro.

Good lord things coming all at once. Interesting that both TDKR and The Batman are listed as wave 1. Maybe our complaints of waves falling short of completion have reached Todd’s ears.

Maybe we will get a suicide squad wave 2 down the road like the BoP Harley.

I like the horsey but…I’m gonna pass on these. Have the DCDirect,Mattel, and most of the Mafex pre-ordered. I LOVES me some DKR but I just dont feel the need to snag these. Now if Todd does an Ollie Queen or Alfred or Two-Face…or dare I say it,Bruno? Maybe on Todd’s site? Gimme something I dont already have 3 of and maybe I’ll bite.

Nice to see those better images on BBTS, makes me more confident in my purchases of these.

There's still... problems, but nothing major. The Superman body looks great aside from the single jointed arms once again mucking up a desired Superman. The head looks like the love child of botox'd Mickie Rourke and a character from the Dick Tracy movie. Carrie is gonna need limb donors, the legs especially look down right frightening. No complaints on Batman. No real complaints on Joker either, but I will bet a fortune on the fact that standing him up on those heels will be downright impossible without a stand.

$100 for 4 original sculpt figures and a pony... Not bad, really. Whatever complaints I have are mostly mitigated by the economics of it. I *might* hold off on Joker and Carrie initially since I imagine they will almost certainly drop in price.

If there's a wave 2, Mutant Leader is a must.
I'd also vote for Gordon, Ollie and Two-Face to round out the wave.
