Yeah, i don't really see it as a great sign that a lot of relatively recent figures are being marked down so steeply, especially characters that fall in the "classic-enough comic characters" that is the focus of my DC collection like John Stewart and Grodd. Retailers gotta make way for all those JL figures i guess.

Of coruse the same thing happens with MLs, characters like Mar-vell and the Leader also available at rock-bottom prices at one point or another. Those of us into pre-90s looks for characters are not as big a portion of the collectorati as one might think reading posts here on the fwoosh.

But still, very nice deals for people looking to get into collecting DC Multiverse.

Made my peace awhile back with the realization that this line is not going to be one that allows you to develop a vast collection of DC heroes and villains from the "ordinary" DC universe...but i'm sure i'll still grab some figures now and then, especially during lulls between hasbro ML waves. Anyhow i assume Todd has a much better handle on what WB, DC, and retailers want from a DC action figure line than i do, so hopefully he will continue the line for a few more years at least.

What looks like a variant of Batman Beyond is also showing up at Target.

Walmart did just have a solid DC figure sale, bringing them down to around $16. Not to mention we are getting the regular assortments at $24.99 vs the usual $29.99 for collector figures, and now $32.99 from Hasbro, so that's something!

Very simple repaint but I very much want it nonetheless.

It's interesting that the impending toy shortages shouted about since the beginning of the year don't seem to be affecting the McFarlane stuff much...

Huh. I guess Batman Beyond is inspired by this sort of thing?

Not sure if that is a must have, but I might pick it up if I see it hanging on a peg...

When was this? Online or in-store only?

$24.99 is better than ML but still pales in comparison to $8-12 USD.

For sure, ya, but we should be used to this by now. It was online and in-store about a week or so ago, and the deal lasted for about a week.

Yeah the price on Bizarro and John Stewart jumped up while they were in my cart. :x But still grabbed a few things at a great price so I can't complain much.

i couldn't take advantage of the sale since i already had everything i wanted, but it's nice to feel like i got my money worth. i pretty much never buy marvel legends unless they're on sale, especially with this new price increase, and even still i don't feel great about most of the purchases. very rarely disappointed with my acquisitions in this line.

I stopped at 2 Targets on my way to work today and they were totally out of McFarlane figures except for the WW84 figures in the Media section. In fact, the entire aisle had very little product on the shelves, but what they did have was in order and hanging in the right areas, nothing was messed up. Maybe they are getting ready for new shipments or they going to reorganize the aisles.

Mcfarlane should have made it cloaked or given a terry head with different accessories like the belt blade. Or he could have not added the grey paint.
