I’m really happy with my Indy. I’m impressed by the head, it looks much better in hand than in the pictures. You also CAN pull off the two hand grip from the promotional images.

I know, I know, I need to clean my keyboard.


You just have to be patient with it and make sure that the arms are as close to the sides of the figure as possible to achieve it, but it's possible.

Scored the full wave at Target here in Albuquerque today. I’m not sure if this has been reported but the Indy I got from Amazon earlier is much shinier than the this one I got from Target, which I think is partly what’s throwing off the likeness in photos.

Saw the whole wave at Gamestop last night on way home from work. Thought I would grab Indy and use my $5 coupon. NOT! I was Gamestop street dated w/ April 5th and they shouldn't have been put out yet. I hate Gamestop's arbitrary street dates. SIGH.

What are you planning to use the DPCI for? You can still use those at the in-store scanners, but for whatever reason Target shut off looking up inventory by DPCIs via sites like Brickseek or Popfindr almost two years ago. Now you have to look up inventory remotely using a different number from a different internal Target system that they call a TCIN (Target.Com Item Number).

I opened my Indy yesterday. The likeness feels a little off to me even though the details appear to be correct so I'm not sure what's throwing it off. I finally got the whip holder to hold the whip after a lot of work. The other whip is useless for posing. The holster is pretty bad, it sits half open even when closed. The dry brushing on the coat, hat, and boots make a big difference. I suppose overall it's a slightly above average figure, enough for me to consider picking up the rest of the line, but it feels a little underwhelming.

I highly recommend heating up the whip, stretching it out & running it under cold water. It won't stay straight out, but you can get it into a much better shape for posing than the way they shipped it.

well my Indy that was supposed to arrive tomorrow from amazon hasnt shipped so it doesnt look like that will happen. hopefully its not pushed back too far

If you pivot the legs to the back they are closely spaced, if you pivot them forward they angle out more. I find the retro figures legs are not as bowed as the 2008 figures. If you look at the crotch of the figure it is triangular as opposed to squared.
