While a bit apprehensive to what this may cost, excited to add a whole team with one drop. Bummed a bit about lack of alien heads. But Hopefully this gets us closer to realizing a ZAP Shgoun-Megazord, and the greatest Megazord Combo in Power Rangers History...the Legendary Shogun-Mega-Falcon-Zord!!!

So I was reading the comics, and had a really cool idea for a cool display / pictures. I just got to the part where (spoilers for MMPR volume 6)

Green Psycho comes in and destroys the 69 team. I really like this part, and realized that the GS exclusive Trini Red and Jason Yellow could easily be used for Grace and Terona for the 69 team. Honestly, I would love them to rerelease the Blue Ranger so I could grab another for this idea, and I doubt we will ever get a female black MMPR or male pink MMPR, but I would love them to complete this team. As of now, I think red, yellow and blue vs Green Psycho would make a really cool display shot, and be great for pictures too. So now I have to track that pack down at gamestop lol.

I hope the Kakuranger set is a Amazon exclusive. Their Psycho Ranger 5-pack got down to $66 at one point, but that was before Hasbro's current insane pricing.

My understanding is that it's an Amazon/Pulse shared exclusive.

Target has a sale spend 50 get 10 off or spend 100 vet 25 off on toys. The Cobra Kai exclusives are part of the sale online, even though they are preorder.

I ordered the 2 rangers and 2 putties with the intention of returning the rangers. Putties will still be almost 25% off in the end.

God help me, I'm starting to wonder if there is some value to that Red and Yellow Ranger color swap set. Thoughts and questions:

The fact that Yellow is a guy means he could double as Zyu Ranger Yellow (who was also a guy).

The red helmet looks a lot more accurate than the helmet we got with with the red Jason. Can anyone with this set see if it can fit on Red Ranger Jason?

How many blade blaster configurations do you get and is there one for each?

A sale on this would be great.

The helmet fit on regular MMPR red, though it was a little tight on mine.

The inaccurate helmet looks OK on the red female body.

Each comes with 3 modes for the blaster, so that's a nice plus.

The set was on sale for 25% off during the last day of the hasbro holiday sale. That's when I got mine. It's not a terrible set if you get it on sale, though there are QC issues like loose hips. Mine was OK, but still a bit lose on yellow.

I feel like a good value for the color swap pack could be for Selfie Series heads where a female customer wants to be a Red Ranger or a male who wants to be a Yellow.

Neither of those are me, but it seems like an opportunity.

Thanks for the info. That 25% was for pulse members only, right? (not me).

It was 25% for Pulse Members, but there apparently was a separate 20% code for non-members.

I picked up the set and like it. My Jason headsculpt looks good. It just has some very minor splotches that I think I can pick away.

Trini's left bicep is a little weird on mine. I can't tell if it's actually the incorrect bicep piece or if it wasn't molded correctly.

Otherwise, I do like the set. 25% off made it worth picking up.

Not surprising. Now do I keep it in tiger-mode because it's cooler, or warrior-mode for space and to be more consistent with my other ZORDS?
And do I use the Thunder-Megazord mode, or the Thinderzords in sled mode?
