RDJ was 43 when he debuted as Iron Man. Went a strong 12 years playing the character. I think Marvel Studios can eek a couple years out of Charlie.

I'm hoping this is as good as the Netflix series. Unfortunately, I think the current Disney+ format is going to hurt it. The 6 episode seasons have given us poor pacing for most of these shows, at least in my opinion.

I think Daredevil might survive better, depending on what they try to do with it. In my opinion, at least, a major factor in the poor pacing for D+ shows is that they're not just trying to tell a story, they're trying to set up a bunch of new stories and cameos and all that other (admittedly, often fun) stuff. So you're 4 episodes in to a 6 episode show and still meeting new characters and the entire plot of the show isn't quite even totally revealed yet. Or whatever the case.

If Daredevil tries to work off what -exists- and tell a single story, it could be really tightly paced and direct. If they try to use Daredevil as a vehicle to introduce 13 more characters that may or may not appear in other shows or movies.. well. That could make it a lot messier.

Neither character does be participating in parkour along tall buildings or engaging in unarmed combat with ninjas.
