Re: X-Men Legends Ch'od BAF Wave
I am no toy reviewer but I'll do my best. Here are some pics:

Pros:
- She is beautiful! I was also a bit unsure about the headsculpt but she is a copy of Cassaday's art in a good way. They used the printing face technology and I gotta say she might be the most artist specfic figure we've ever gotten.
- Lots of sculpted details in her costume. Even her shoes have sculpted details.
- The cape is somewhat flexible.
- Her legs are pinless.
Cons:
- Her cape is glued to her crop top. On the back it is not glued, there is a pin which you can remove as we've seen with other capes but you can't really do much given her front is completely glued. I guess the cape can be removed but I am not going to try.
- Because her cape is glued, the range of the arms movement is extremely limited, as you can see on the pics, she can only move her arms a bit which means you are not going to get any cool telepathic poses with her.
- Her heels are not as bad as Walgreens' but it's hard to keep her standing up.
- Her arms are not double-jointed.
- The skin tone does not match Walgreens Emma, they are quite different.
All in all, I am happy to get her despite her price tag of 29 euros because she was the only figure from the wave I wanted to buy but her permanently attached cape is a big disappointment.

As far as Astonishing X-Men goes, if the new print-tech could be used on different parts of the body to get the light blue lines, I'd LOVE to see them make Danger look like this.

Single-jointed elbows aside, Emma looks fantastic.
I'll need to replace that cape with soft goods, though.

I think that photo looks even better than the official pics. Maybe it's just me seeing in-hand photos proving it is a nice figure.

Are female figures becoming smaller or the older ones are too big?

Any moment we should find out exactly what the deal is with that stupid effect on Cyclops.
Does it pop out? Does it look like ass when removed? TELL ME

If anyone has a pic of Monet could you post it? I'd like to see just how small her head is and if the eyes are really that big. I'm still buying her, I just want to get over the shock as soon as possible.

The scale between Emma’s make me pessimistic about reusing either of the WG heads. (To say nothing of skin tones)

So far, it's been very reminiscent of everything I can't stand about New X-Men.
That first crossover, with some Mortal Kombat tournament and Apocalypse family drama in a parallel dimension, and the entire lead up to it, was terrible.
But to each their own.

Oh, I'm familiar with it. I read the two initial miniseries when they first came out and I was intrigued. But I took my time getting to the actual main books, and I'm slowly getting through them (not just the main ones, but most of the other team books, as well) whenever I have time. I think I'm almost up to the Hellfire Gala, but it's been a few months since my last dive into it.CTVampSlayer wrote: You should read Hickman's run, you'll love it.

Emma looks even better in those photos! Thanks for sharing AF.
I know I'm being greedy, but my hope is that the Astonishing love will carry through to us getting the core team plus a new Danger, Ord, Abigail Brand, and Armor. A tall order given the outstanding x-teams we still have, but they're all crucial to the story and would make cool figures in their own right.
