Re: ML Retro Ghost Rider (Series?)
Got my retro GR today and it’s a mixed bag.
The boots seem new to me, but I never had the older ones so I’m not sure, and it makes his shins really long but I guess he should have some decent height. His left forearm is weirdly greyer than the rest of the jacket though and on the whole I know it’s meant to be JB but the colours of black jacket and grey trousers say DK to me. Moreso, the packaging has this detail…

…so it’s kinda aggravating to be teased a Ketch bike graphic on mostly Ketch coloured figure but as a bikeless single card and it being a JB.
The new hands and alt head are real nice though so it’s got some plus points.

Re: ML Retro Ghost Rider (Series?)
This is a weird one because it LOOKS fine, and is arguably the best version of this figure to date. But its also on this body that always felt to me like Blaze was shoehorned onto it as a way to get extra mileage out of this body when you could easily justify a unique mold for such a good selling character who has wider audience appeal purely based on his aesthetic. Still, I don't mind buying this figure essentially a 3rd time, it's just disappointing when he kind of deserves better. Still, the new parts (head and hands) look great. Not enough to ease the overall shrug worthiness of this release.

Re: ML Retro Ghost Rider (Series?)
Mine arrived from Pulse today and I'll be displaying it with the alternate transforming head and the bony hands, just to have a relatively different figure. The standard head is actually quite nice. A clean white skull, but also the jaw lines up really well to the skull, which has been a consistent problem on every previous attempt at this mold. So I appreciate that little bit.

Re: ML Retro Ghost Rider (Series?)
Yeah, I really love the skull, but as a horror fan I have to use that transform head--so much anguish. I have his left bone hand with both flame swirls going up that arm, and his right gloved hand holding Jigsaw's shotgun. I freaking love this look! This figure is perfect for not having a bike to me.

Re: ML Retro Ghost Rider (Series?)
I really hope more of these figures are planned; I'd love to at least get a full wave. The packaging brought me back to some good times. It'll be weird to get a Danny Ketch Ghost Rider without a bike, however.
Fortunately for Orb (whom I originally thought was going to be in a Retro Ghost Rider wave), I was able to get an extra Legendary Rider Logan for less than $40 on Amazon; his blue bike is perfect for him.

Maisto makes 1:12 scale motorcycles. I bought the one below from Target a while back for $9.99. Amazon has them too. Still deciding whether to use this one for Punisher or attempt to make a custom Johnny Blaze.MollyMillions wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 3:53 pmDo we have ideas on bikes for him aside from the ML bikes?

Re: ML Retro Ghost Rider (Series?)
From my experience, the 1:12 bikes are a bit small for Legends. I got my GR a month ago, but I'm still trying to find the right bike for him. I've been looking into 1:10 scale, like the Hot Wheels.

Re: ML Retro Ghost Rider (Series?)
Honestly, the only other figure I NEED from this subline is Dan Ketch and his bike. Could live without pretty much anyone else. Wouldn't be opposed to getting Vengeance or Blackheart.

Re: ML Retro Ghost Rider (Series?)
A tad on the smaller side, but fairly fudge-able. 1:10 scale might actually work better considering ML aren't technically 1:12 scale any longer.
