I happen to think Joe Quinn, who played Eddie Munson in Stranger Things, resembles RDJr a lot to me. I wouldn't be oppose to seeing him in the role.

But you're right about the truncation of source material, and how the cinematic universe they've built, while vast, is heavily reliant on the talent. That talent doesn't stay young forever. It makes sense to recast when necessary. As long as the quality stays good or gets better.
I completely agree about Quinn and must have had the same thought dozens of times over that last season. I wouldn't be opposed to it either. Part of me hopes they do it, heh. I could see that working really well. Maybe just for Avenger movies or a supporting role.

Ryan and Dwight just revealed at the Marvel livestream the female Black Panther figure, which will be available later this year. It was very quick and they didn't really give any details about accessories or who's behind the mask.

Have to admit, that BP figure looks sharp and I'll end up buying it.

Wonder if it’ll be in a multi-pack or store exclusive. I’m guessing it’ll be solicited the Monday after the movie.

There was that single figure listing they had on Marvelousnews that was definitely not Iron Heart. I would guess it's this.

I sorta don't want to get her, mostly for budget and space, but I already know I will. I knew this figure was coming and already have a spot for her.

If I'm Disney, the MCU in-total is the draw right now more than any character or storyline. So let the current MCU continue with the new characters and cast for as long as it goes, even it means letting characters (and their actors) exit the overall story. At some point the MCU will reach a natural endpoint due to lack of interest - then you reboot the sub-franchises like Iron Man or Captain America, outside of the MCU continuity, with new actors and stories and let them have their own standalone thing for a bit and not interconnect.

I'm still betting on Star wars getting rebooted eventually too.

Got the Deluxe Ironheart today. Hasbro packed some pretty good articulation into this figure that you wouldn't necessarily expect from just looking at it. Pretty nice figure.

It doesn't really need rebooted though- unless you are trying to start a brand new universe with a remake of Ep4.

Plenty of room in the universe to continue to make new stories and create new characters in the current, what- five, six, seven time periods that we are playing in, whilst simultaneously being able to completely ignore all the flops.

Absolutely agree. These characters are larger than life. I don’t like seeing any of them die. I’d rather Marvel recast.

I’m hoping the Multiverse can bring a lot of characters back.

Still super-pysched to see this movie though. Wakanda vs Atlantis is epic.

Got Ironheart and Namor. Ironheart is in the running for figure of the year for me! Outstanding figure. Lots of accessories; beautifully detailed armor; nice articulation (those ankles are wild). Two awesome head sculpts. Love her!
