I thought there weren't gonna be any more SW preorders for a couple of exceptions, which are the Wal Mart figures that already went up.supermonkey wrote:Any word on when/where Cad goes up for preorder?

Yes pretty much, but I’m thinking in terms of extending the sides to make it deeper.Polarboy01 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 10:55 amIn the movie isn't it standing on it's own like a shed in the forest. I suppose it must go underground but all we ever see is the door.

Re: Star Wars The Vintage Collection
Got the bunker yesterday. Wasn't able to take a good luck at the Bunker yet, but the Scout Trooper/Rebel Commando is awesome! The new lower legs/ankles and helmet look great. The helmet especially is as great of an update for the Scout Trooper as the Rogue One helmet is for the Stormtrooper. Plus, the range of motion in the neck joint introduced way back in 2012's Mission Fleet edition still provides a ridiculous amount of movement. Pretty sure we're going to see all of these new parts when the ROTJ Speeder Bike w/Scout Trooper comes out next week (I just got a shipping soon notification for it), so this release makes me even more excited to get that.

Yeah, the new Biker Scout in the speeder set is great too. I was actually surprised to see it wasn't just a rehash. I also really love the new speeder. I thought I'd be content with just one of this set, but I'm going to hopefully get a few more if I can find a sale at some point. I have the old bunker, but I'll pick that new one up too when it goes on sale.

Re: Star Wars The Vintage Collection
I'm not a 3.75" collector but I have ordered two of the speeder bikes. I wanted them because I am into motorcycles and have a nice little collection of Maisto and Bburago 1:18 scale MotoGP bikes, and thought that adding a bike from my favourite franchise in the same scale would be fun.
I got two, so that I have one to display as a full thing, and an extra scout trooper to mount on top of Valentino Rossi's 2002 championship winning Honda RC211V (this is the same year that Attack of the Clones came out).
The only thing I have to swallow is that the MotoGP bikes are $10-20 apiece, while the Star Wars things are about 6x more expensive. Each.
Being a geek is expensive.

So excited for the Tuskens! This is exactly the sort of thing I like to see in the TVC line.

Re: Star Wars The Vintage Collection
Love the Tusken pack as well. I just wish they’d stop including unique characters in these sets. The officers in previous sets were fine but there was only on Tusken Chieftain. He should have been single carded or maybe in a different multi pack with the warrior and child Tusken? Putting him in a tribe builder pack automatically gives me a figure I don’t need duplicates of. They’re doing the same with Boil (or was it Waxer?) in the upcoming clone pack.
That said if it was this or nothing, I’m glad they did it.

Re: Star Wars The Vintage Collection
Surely you could swap robes or heads around and create a larger variety, while keeping a chieftain unique.

I'm happy to have him, but unique characters aren't a great thing in troop builder sets.

Re: Star Wars The Vintage Collection
Completely agree! Nameless officers are fine, but Waxer has so many unique markings that he could never be just a standard officer. Same with the Chieftain here. I might try to mix parts with one of my TVC Tuskens to make him more regular, but it's still not ideal.Buttmunch wrote:Love the Tusken pack as well.
