Grimlock is up next! He looks cool in Trypticon's colors. Surprised it's taken this long for a Grimlock recolor. Decepticon ranks are LOW though, would be nice to get more of them.

I got this guy and Tarn recently. Tarn for regular price $33.99 plus tax thru Amazon and SG Ultra Magnus in the Pulse sale for $40.94 plus tax. Tarn is good his shoulder articulation drives me batty. This Ultra Magnus is a steal at $40! I wanted another SG Autobot to rival my Prime. This guy oh baby! The colors are great. The accessories are great. The figure moves pretty well. Limited with his bulky armor in the legs. Man he’s a beast! That head sculpt is unreal! Beautimus Prime!

I haven’t read the comics but my head cannon has the Matrix being a shattered relic in the Shattered Glass universe. Till all are one have different meanings for Optimus, Ultra Magnus, and Megatron. They all have a piece. The Matrix wants to be whole and heal the fractured universe.

Totally using SG Grim as my Cons' Trypticon. Cheaper, I actually have room for him, and sorry, looks cooler in both modes (though I definitely hope DNA makes an add-on kit to really "turn him into" Tryp).

I think SG Rodimus is rumored, I saw some image floating around. But he doesn't have the evil mustache/goatee.

I like how that added touch sets him apart further from his heroic self. It's so cliche and silly, but a detail I'd prefer they didn't omit.

Just opened Grimlock, and I dig the colors quite a bit. Really smart giving him Trypticon's scheme.

That's fair. And we should have to add it, but it should be an easy thing to add. As long as they use the best mold for it, I'm fine making that sacrifice.

I blame you for me getting Grimlock. I had no desire to until you pointed that out about him. I didn't like Trypticon's mold or size (or price that went with the size), but I LOVE the SS Grimlock mold, so I had to. Thanks a lot, ya jerk!

Hoping DNA at the very least gives us teeth fillers & better dino arms (purple hands to give more Tryp details?). And since they did the awesome translucent yellow neck from Grim, a translucent orange horn would be pretty awesome. And instead of a whole brand new Wheelie, I wouldn't mind a new chest insert with a sculpted Decepticon symbol.

(Especially since I bungled it lol...tried to slice it off, but instead of being a white plastic insert, it's the same purple plastic it's surrounded by...so now there's a blob of white poster tack under the translucent orange piece, with a Con symbol on the outside over it, lol)

I didn't realize it when opening it, but Grimlock doesn't come with a comic! I wonder why that is. It's not a mistake, his listing on Pulse even shows that it's just him, whereas all the other SG releases list the figure and comic right in the item title.
