I have such nostalgia for the NA figures, even though I didn't like NA as a kid. The Masterverse versions of these characters is really exciting, especially with the updated designs and features. All we need is a Flogg and Masterverse will have completed the "clearanced out at Woolworth's" set.
I also want to mention the Deluxe Ram-Man. I prefer the larger 200X Ram-Man to the original fireplug, and getting a Masterverse version, branded as 200X or not, is a must-buy for me.

This Ram Man strikes the perfect balance of bulk and heft for me. Also his build is reminiscent of minicomic art, and I’d love a repaint in those colors.

I missed Classic Ram Man, but this is close enough to filmation for me.

I feel the same way about NA. That Slushhead looks crazy cool. Like Mr. Freeze from BTAS or Baxter fom TMNT 2003.Ikariniku wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 6:16 pmI have such nostalgia for the NA figures, even though I didn't like NA as a kid. Re: Masterverse: 7” He-Man line
I'm trying to go less crazy with the toy buying this year but goddamn... I definitely need the NA stuff, and Whiplash looks so fun. He has a TORCH. Why? Who cares. I love fun accessories like that. Really nice to see Rev. Prince Adam, as well. Love the look of him and his accessories.
I have to laugh when I see Clamp Champ, though. Just like... very bold of them to make that figure when the Origins one might be one of the longest-lasting pegwarmers of the last decade. At least here it was - maybe that was largely a local thing for me.
In any event, though; there's some really great Masterverse stuff on the horizon.

Re: Masterverse: 7” He-Man line
I've never heard of Slush Head before and when I saw him on the promotional poster I dismissed him as an easy pass. Then I saw the follow-up pics where you can put his head in that spider-like contraption and literally caught my breath. Crazy cool, I'll probably have to get one.
Loving that Prince Adam, nice to see him look like a character who has to actually physically morph into He-Man instead of it just being him stripping down to his underpants to become He-Man.
My goal with a MOTU collection is to finish out the 1984 poster with Battle Armor He-Man/Battle Cat and Battle Armor Skeletor/Panthor up front ( tried to post the image but can never seem to get images to work on this site). With these releases (not counting vehicles and pets), we'll only still need Mekanek, Battle Armor Skeletor, and Kobra Khan to finish it.

Well damn....it's gonna be hard just picking up Whiplash, Clawful, Mer-Man, and possibly Webstor, and then try to resist all of the others....

Son of a ……..that’s a lot of cool stuff. I think I’m in for all of them. There’s not a one I don’t want. This line just keeps creeping up on my attention meter.
And while I don’t collect the origins line, that Point Dredd and Talon Fighter will be mine. These Origins vehicles fudge so well with Revelations figures.
Also, has there been any news of Revelations Eternia Palace Guards? Good army builders.

Did you guys notice the insane new weapons Faker comes with? His power sword looks like it's been broken and welded back together with other bits of metal. Or like it's all made of tech -- like 200x's sword. That's super nifty.

Re: Masterverse: 7” He-Man line
Just aheads up the recent vehicles haven't really been compatible with both lines like Wind Raider and Stridor (or even the Land Shark) were. You're not getting Masterverse figure in the Roton and while you can get one on the Road Ripper, it is very clearly undersized and for a different line.Ro-El wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 7:44 pmSon of a ……..that’s a lot of cool stuff. Re: Masterverse: 7” He-Man line
That Clawful with the articulated claws looks like the Clawful I've wanted all along. And Ram Man is very close to the original Mini-comic build. Really interested in seeing how the ribbed leg overlay works.
The only thing I think I would want changed from all of these is a Whiplash with a fully articulated ball-jointed tail. It would no doubt bump the price up to higher-than-deluxe pricing, but I'd pay it.

Re: Masterverse: 7” He-Man line
Man talk about a home run.
I love my Origins, and have only dipped my toe into Masterverse (thanks to super deep sales), but first it was Two-Bad, and now these reveals........OUCH (my poor wallet). They really did a great job here and I can't see a single figure that I don't think is superb. It really is a turn around from those first couple waves. Don't get me wrong there was a lot of good in them, but not as consistently as there figures.
It's going to be a expensive run, and I can see some people changing out their Classics versions of characters for these ones.
