I am down for these, Superman looks great. No way I could resist if i saw these on the pegs.
New scale for me, not since Star Wars have I been interested in the smaller scale figures. Hoping that Mcf goes deep with the characters/playsets and vehicles

Re: DC Superpowers 2022
Price point is awesome. This is exactly what the '66 line should've been. Then the playset and vehicle would match the figures!
Can't wait to nab Batman and the Batwing. Fingers crossed for a Super Powers-era Batcave playset next! And they HAVE to make an invisible jet. WW fans have waiting long enough...

Re: DC Superpowers 2022
I am actually quite excited for this. The scale is exactly what I hoped it would be, the vehicles look fun and the price point is spot on. The only thing that would take the wind out of my sails is if this ends up being another Batman (guest staring the rest of the DCU) line like every other DC product at retail. Fingers crossed.
(That Batman on the left is one of my favorite Batman figures ever. It's Michael Keaton..........but blue and gray!)

Re: DC Superpowers 2022
Superman looks pretty good. And like others have said, that price point is also nice to see. I am kinda surprised more companies don't kind of go for a smaller scale, less articualted, but still well sculpted line of figures. Something along the lines of 90's 5inch figures, but just with more modern sculpting behind them. I do like these though and I can see myself grabbing a bunch. I feel like they may scale pretty well with DCUC stuff too, so that would be great if they are around the same size.

Re: DC Superpowers 2022
I have the potential to be sold on ANY scale, really. 6" is not the be-all end-all for me, it's just what toy companies have gone all-in on in the last 15-20 years. I display all all kinds of scales from the 80's-today. So yes, if toy companies do more like this, they will have my attention.BizarroMort wrote: ↑Thu Jun 30, 2022 2:22 pmSuperman looks pretty good. Re: DC Superpowers 2022
I never do this but I'm checking my local Walmart at lunch time for these. I'm especially hoping to find the Batwing.
I would say the price point for these is perfect but it's actual beyond perfect. In 2022, getting a uniquely sculpted and package vehicle for $20 is amazing.
Wasn't the Batmobile like $15-$20 back in 1984?
McFarlane Toys: Modern figure quality; retro figure pricing!

Re: DC Superpowers 2022
This line is definitely getting more of my attention. Any preorders for these anywhere? For me one of the things that Super Powers always had going for it was the colorful packaging. Those classic Superman colors for the packaging really caught my eye back in the day and to my surprise still does with this line. The colors just pop out on the shelves. Price is really good in these times too. It’s basically the sale price of those Super7 retro Joes at Target.
Hopefully these sell well and WB and Mac get that the SA and BA toy fans are still here and still want this stuff.

Re: DC Superpowers 2022
This reminds me of MOTU Origins, like when they get the designs right in that line they are some of my favorite Masters of the Universe figure. I think it's taking the vintage design aesthetics, modernizing it in a way where it still fits in with the old stuff, but is also something new.

We keep hearing that most action figures are bought for kids, so that means that a lot of parents out there are buying 25 and 30 dollar action figures for their children. I'm sure that seeing a $10 figure would be a huge relief to those folks.
That said, I'm an adult, and I'm very happy to see that price point!
