Yeah, they ghosted me years ago when i had a figure missing a cape. It’s pretty unfortunate because I like their stuff

Re: Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective 6 inch DC figures
I got the Superman I ordered when it was in-stock at BBTS today. It may be the two hours of sleep I got last night or coming home early from a business trip I absolutely didn't want to be on talking, but this Superman is fantastic. My only other Mezco is the classic Batman they released not too long ago, so this goes perfectly with him.
I'm glad Mezco is doing more comic styled figures without the flair they used to add. I'm looking forward to the Green Goblin and Spider-man later this year (hopefully)

I got my Superman today too. Only checked him out a little, but he's pretty great. Excellent range on tilting the head back for flying poses, good proportions. It reminds me a little of a McFarlane figure, where it looks way better in hand than it did in photos. My only complaint remains the S, it's just a bit small.greengoblin7 wrote:I got the Superman I ordered when it was in-stock at BBTS today. As annoyed as I am about how terrible his emblem looks, I’m probably equally annoyed by how long it’s taking Mezco direct to fulfill their orders.
But plenty of time, people and resources to put up more pre-orders!

Re: Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective 6 inch DC figures
I'll probably be done with Mezco after I eventually get the Keaton Batman and Superman. I'll bite the bullet on my remaining NRD that I have and just cancel. I was pretty much done with them since last year because Mafex has really stepped up with their offerings in the last 2-3 years. Although Mcfarlane's stuff is hit or miss, they've also been filling my DC action figure fix with their offerings as well.
If they give us a Neal Adams/Don Newton/Jim Aparo Batman then I'll bite the bullet but otherwise I'm kind of done with Mezco.

Got my Supes in (from Mezco direct) and you know what, he’s great. Still irked by the emblem bait and switch, but otherwise I think he’s great and looks tremendous next to his fellow DC characters. I fully get the Mezco ire, but this one I’m happy to have.

If we get a classic Dick Grayson/Jason Todd Robin and/or Tim Drake 90s Robin I'll probably bite the bullet.TheeCollector wrote:No interest in Robin?

Lots of folks have been saying that this Supes is way smaller than their Batman offerings, but here they look to be roughly the same height. Is this the case, or is this an optical illusion based on the angle of the photos?

Re: Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective 6 inch DC figures
I have no other outstanding Mezco preorders once Keaton Bats arrives. Superman and the Crow were the last 2 I had.
I have 6 foot lockers filled with Mezco boxes, so it feels weird to not have anything else in the preorder pipeline right now. The 2 packs and multipacks just didn't do it for me.
The only teased figure I AM interested in is The Shadow, so that's likely the next one, whenever it goes up (hoping for regular retail, not a Mez exclusive).

This is the Mezco Batman I own, and I see no scale problem here. If I pull the trigger on this Supes, I'm not worried about the height.
