3A retailer exclusives WWRp Berties revealed

With news that the WWRp Berties have started shipping to retailers, we also got some confirmation of three new color schemes exclusive to retailers that ordered a significant (as yet unrevealed) number of the original Berties.  Ashley Wood had dropped some tidbits of information about these three different bots on his website previously, but now we have some pics courtesy of the 3A production blog.

Some interesting news about these exclusive figures is that one of the retailers who received a limited supply of them is actually giving them away on facebook.  Apparently the exclusives were a free incentive for the retailers, so this particular retailer (who is also a fan) decided to pass on the figures to fellow fans for free.  Pretty cool, if you ask me.

Don’t know what these figures are or why you should care?  Click through for a brief introduction to WWRp.

World War Robot (WWR) is a series of books by artist Ashley Wood.  He has released several action figures based on this and his other works through his company 3A toys.  Most of these figures have been 1/6th scale (12 inch figures), but the WWRp line is made up of characters from WWR in the 1/12 scale familiar to Marvel Legends and DC Universe classics fans.

I only own one WWRp figure right now and I showed it off here.  Ron over at action figure pics showed off a couple of his here.  The Bramble is the first WWRp model of robot released.  The Berties have come out recently and two more models (Large Martin and Armstrong) have been released for sale at Woods’ online store Bambaland.  Some good resources to find out more about these figures:
